Replacement 3D Analog Thumb Stick Grip Joystick Cap Cover Rocker Button for 3DS 3DSXL New 3DS New 3DS XL LL (Dark Blue #3)

When I first saw the thumb stick in the package, I was afraid it was wayyy too small compared to the original thumb stick. However, I decided to compare the difference between the two and turns out it’s only slightly smaller than the original. The material is the same as the original joy stick (a soft-feeling rubber), and the color is very nice! In person, the color looks more like the second photo I took (with the joystick in the system already).

It's slightly smaller than the original, but this one gets the job done. Inserting the analog replacement was the easy part. Getting that 3DS XL open was the difficult part. The screws were tight! Anyways! I can play my games again!

Item was overall smaller than original but works fine but the main problem was delivery. The delivery person clearly threw my package over the fence not caring and when person took the picture you can clearly see that the package was not in neither the porch or near the front door when claimed that the package was put on porch or near front door.

When I saw the little baggy with this in it I thought it was way too small. However, once I took out my old analog stick and compared the two, the difference is pretty minimal. It has been working great for the past month and I will buy again if I need to. Seems a lot better built than one that came with the 3DS.

Nice custom piece for repairing a broken joystick on the Nintendo 3ds XL. You'll need a 00 Philips head screwdriver to take the 3ds apart. Watch a video online, it's a pretty easy fix.

Either I got the wrong one or the photo was misleading. Ordered Black #5 with the assumption it was textured based on the photo. The one I received was a completely smooth mold. Ive attached images for comparison. The dark grey one is one I bought elsewhere that has similar texture to what looked like on the product image. Also black #5 is not a rubberized plastic unlike what other reviews may say.

I am satisfied with this product. My dad helped me with it and we watched videos on how to install it. It requires a very tiny screwdriver so as long as you have that, the installation is fairly simple. It feels nice on my fingers and is a great option for a replacement joystick!
