Excellent tool for fine details!
I work with polymer clay - both freestyle modeling and using molds. When using molds there are times when it's necessary to carve out small delicate areas inside the design ((like carving out lace or filigree designs or the small bits on butterfly wings) as well as adding my own designs around the outer edges. Although I have many clay sculpting and carving tools none of them worked very well for this purpose, often pulling at the clay and tearing where points meet because the areas were so tiny and delicate.This tool is ideal for fine detail-cutting. It is comfortable to hold and position and the tip is sharpened along the edge as well as the point.
