Excellent bits for a variety of materials
These are the best bits that I have found and that includes ones from Snap-On (ThunderBit). They stand up to harder metals well when using a lubricant. They do not tend to break and they hold their sharpness well. Of course you pay for this but this set is still considerably less expensive than the ones from the tool truck.

Hss, high quality
Great set of drills. I'm tired of buying expensive cheap drill sets that are not durable.I use these in both hand tools and a lathe/mill.They are excellent.Hand tools are the bigger killer of drill bits. Wobbly, misaligned, uncontrolled feed and not rigid. These seem to be holding up well. These are hss, not cobalt etc. The fancy drills with exotic sounding metals are best for specific machine tools. These are hand held tool capable. Cobalt drills chip and break far too easily in hand tools. If you are tired of cheap drill bits or are using hand tools, then these are for you. They are a shallower angle, 135 deg as opposed to 118. So they are slower to cut but are easier to control and stronger. They drill through ss easily. Just use lube.

Great bits
Used these for both stainless and mild steel and they worked beautifully. Very clean, quick cuts, little heat to speak of and no visible dulling of tip. These hardened bits are a good investment and very please that they were made in USA. No more crap from Chinese even if cheaper.

Great drill bits that stat sharp longer the others I have tried. I am comparing this to a Craftsman set I have had for years. I replace by Craftsman bits with DeWalt and other bits from home Depot and these are better then LL listed. I have dulled one already and I used my drill doctor to sharpen it again and the metal these are made out of just stays sharper for longer and is more durable then the cobalt bits I have purchased in the past.

Okay bits.
Okay bits. Sharpness did not last real long.

Superior quality
Will have to review them for durability down the road, right away though, after some few hours of use, it's apparent that there is a significant difference between these and normal hardware store drill bits... beautifully machined and very sharp. Love the metal case too. Thanks for making quality tools that are a pleasure to use!

Quit looking - these are it
After dozens of mid grade titanium and "high quality" bits I have used for 40 years, the best thing I ever did was buy these. I waited 6 months to do this review so its not a "they look great in the box" review. Solid bits, stay sharp, of course they are consumables but I can see now that this set will last me a very very long time. Most people use drill bits improperly, use steady pressure at a 90 deg angle at a speed that keeps the bit cutting no faster and use tap magic or some other lube on thick metal. The box internal hinges could use some work, but I didnt buy them for the box, the "drawers" pop out once in a while, but I LOVE these bits.

Great bits
I have a set of these at work that I absolutely love, but they’re repackaged by fastenal. I bought these for home for half of what fastenal sells them for. They last twice as long as any other bits I’ve used and the flats at the base serve two important functions: they don’t slip in the chuck and they fit back in the card after you use them. I’ll definitely buy these again.
