Youthful looking skin
I had a sample of the Manuka Secret exfoliating facial cream and was very happy with the results. So happy with the results that I have just purchased my second Manuka Secrets exfoliating facial cream . It is light and gentle on my skin. I exfoliate with it twice a week. I receive compliments and am asked what am I using to have such youthful, smooth, fresh looking skin.. .Very happy with the results!

I am not sure if this product was supposed to be a cleanser or exfoliater.
First off, I am very confused. I thought I was receiving a face and body exfoliating cream. Instead I received a cream cleanser, which is also included in the description. Are there two products melted together in the single product description? The package I received says "Cleanse" in it while the picture by the seller says "Exfoliate".Even though I am confused, I decided to keep it as this product was provided at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.The packaging is professional and nice looking. It has a nice weight to it. It almost looks like something you would see at a spa. The scent of the product kind of smells like tea tree oil with a hint of patchouli. But note, there is no tea tree oil in this product. I am just describing what the scent reminds me of. With my acne struggles, I tend to shy away from any cleanser with oil. The 2nd ingredient listed is almond oil. But, after doing a little Google research on Manuka Honey (The selling point of this whole brand), I found that it is great for acne and cleansing the skin. I decided to try it.On the back of the bottle it says that it removes make-up and debris. Well I used it to wash off an entire face of make-up. I followed the instructions of rubbing it into my dry skin for 2-3 minutes and washed it off with a warm damp washcloth.My tried and true test for the effectiveness of a cleanser is to use a cotton pad with a bit of toner an see if I pull any make-up off my freshly cleaned face. This failed the test...miserably. My cotton pad was dark with make-up. To be fair, I really wore lots of make-up that day!In the end, I will use the product and try to get the effectiveness out of the Manuka honey for acne. My plan is to use it in the morning when my face is already make-up free.In the end I docked this product a star because the description and picture is confusing. Is it supposed to be the cleanser or is it supposed to be the exfoliater?I docked it an additional star due to the claim that it removes make-up. It did not remove all of my make-up.I feel that three stars is fair. This does seem to be a quality product with quality ingredients.
