Pull the Scalpel Blades After Use or You’ll be Sorry...
This product does exactly what I need it to do, it’s a little too good. Because it has a soft case always pull out your scalpel blades when you’re done. I regrettably did not and I am currently writing this review with a 7in cut in my thigh. Because I didn’t remove the blade it cut through the soft case and my backpack. My girl friend cut her finger and we thought it was a fishing hook so I looked for fishing hooks but couldn’t find any. Then today I was rushing to join a zoom meeting and dropped my back pack through my legs and the scalpel cut a huge gash down my thigh. Luckily, it’s not too deep but it has now bled through 5 folder paper towels. Long and short of it is to pull the blades after use.I would totally recommend this product and it actually is really good for dissections. The pointed scalpel is really useful for small cuts like Roundworms and the like.Overall great product just PULL THE BLADES!!

Has everything you need.
I never thought I would be ordering a dissection kit and posting a review on it but here I am! Our daughter needed this for her college biology class. It seems to have everything she needs and it looks like a good quality kit.

Great set, replacing the scalpel blade should be easier.
I thought this set looked great and was very fun. We just used it to dissect pickles, so maybe a little overkill, but the kids felt very cool and special using it. It comes with a good selection of dissection tools, but no pins, which I had to buy separately.My only complaint was that it was difficult to change out the scalpel blade. Doing it the typical way where you slide it off with forceps was slightly difficult, and I didn't feel like the blades sat on the scalpel right.Overall I think this is a good set and it's also a fun little spooky thing to have. You never know when you'll need to dissect a pickle lol.

Excellent quality tools
Not only excellent quality but a complete variety of necessary tools. It would have been nice to include instructions on how to install a surgical blade on to a handle. I am not a student so didn't have access to that information. I ordered another surgical blade and it came with instructions and then I also went online to see a video of how to do it and quickly learned how to use the tools which I would have had to do anyway being a complete novice. I got the kit for my first aid kit for my Go Bag. Thank you

Good value
These medical implements are very handy though they were smaller than I expected but I’ve used the tweezer in the kit several times on splinters and tics so I’m happy.

Very nice set.
This is great for doing home procedures. I have already used it for a gun shot and stabbing.One of these days I might be able to try it for it's intended use, on animals. Works great on humans though!
