Clockwork Synergy Classic Nylon Nato watch straps bands

Im a bit dissappointed with Clockwork Synergy. Three yrs ago i purchased an all black pvd Nato strap from Clockwork (see photo). I f....ing love this strap! I wear this strap almost everyday for the past 3yrs. interchanging it between watches. As you can see everythings intact, no frails, holes are still the same from 3yrs ago, and THE HARDWARE IS STITCHED! Big ups to Clockwork!! Recently i bought a new watch so its time to get new NATO's. Obviously i chose Clockwork based on experience and the durability of the strap. I got an orange stripe/black through Amazon and a Green strap from Clockworks website, just wanted to know who delivers faster, same price. Anyways, first thing i noticed that the HARDWARE IS GLUED NOT STITCHED(see photo)! Why is that Clockwork? I had a couple of NATOs from diff company that the hardware was glued, it didnt last very long, hardware went loose. I wish i could show a photo of the crappy strap but i threw it out i have no use for it. Hopefully this will not happen with these new straps, but i doubt it. Whoever is reading this review make sure that the hardware is stitched, not glued. This is one of the important things to look for on a good quality strap. Google search it.

This is a good quality Nato strap! I've been through half a dozen different nato straps and this is my favorite so far. It's very thin and lightweight but seems very durable. The buckle and stays are made of the perfect material to blend in with stainless steel watches, which is by far the most common. Right now it's on my Orient Mako diver watch and it look amazing. The strap seems like it will last for years and years.My only complaint is that there is no size options. I would have really liked to get this in 22 mm but Clockwork Synergy only offered this color combination in 20 mm. This is however one of the only places I could find a green and yellow striped strap. The colors are accurate to the picture and look great in person.If I could find a 22 mm strap from Clockwork Synergy I would have no problem buying from them again.Pros:Thinner than most of the other Nato straps I've usedMade of durable materialsOne of the only places that offer certain color combinationsCons:No size options

I received this watch strap the other day, right when I got my new Citizen Men's BM8180-03E Eco-Drive Canvas Strap Watch. I knew from the moment I'd seen the watch that I would hate the strap, and, lo and behold, I was right!Luckily, I had ordered this strap, and got it the day after. The Citizen's strap was inflexible, unattractive, and lacking in precision of sizing. With my skinny wrists, I knew that would be an issue. I wrestled off those springbars (used a pocketknife, since I don't have a proper tool), popped them back on, and slipped through this NATO strap.Boy, what a difference! The watch itself looks a thousand times better, the fit was a thousand times better, and I don't feel like I'm going to tear it off my wrist in frustration anymore!This strap seems to be of pretty decent quality. It's my first nylon strap, so I don't have anything to compare to, but I can tell it isn't going to break after a week.The width is just right, the length is perfect, the quality is good, the price was fair - this is a solid five-star product. I'm glad to have made this purchase.

As others have noted, the keeper rings are secured by glue and/or melting the strap together (rather than stitching, which is stronger and preferred). I've been buying several of these type of watch straps from various sellers on Amazon and elsewhere to try and get a feel for the market - I would place these toward the bottom of the list in terms of quality-for-price. That said, these guys offer designs I haven't seen anywhere else, and even though I'd prefer them a bit cheaper due to the 'cheaper' construction relative to the competition, it's hard to argue against the value; they're still well worth the price!

I was happy to buy Clockwork Synergy Nato straps, because I had a great experience with one of their previous products. However, I opened up these two straps and was disappointed. The hardware seemed flimsy and cheap, and the band itself was much lighter than I expected. So I went back and checked my original CS order, and found it to be their "heavy duty" line.So I've used these classic nylon straps for a week, and I have no complaints. They're doing their job. They look as shown in the pictures. They're not bad. But had I known, I would have gladly spent the extra few dollars and gotten the heavy duty 5-ring straps, which I like much better.

I previously bought a clockwork synergy 5-ring heavy duty nato strap, and have really enjoyed it. So I purchased this classic nato strap, but was unimpressed with the weight of the hardware and the thin strap material. It was then that I realized that my previous CS purchase was for the heavy duty strap (later verified on Amazon), and that this was the standard classic strap.So I've worn it for a week, and the classic nato strap isn't bad. It's just not great. It's comfortable. It's working fine. But I wish I would have spent a few extra bucks and gotten the thicker strap with better hardware.
