Bumpy Surface, Strong Odor.
I don't normally leave reviews for items I purchase, however I had to let others know that I was unhappy with this product. The surface is very bumpy, it is hard to press your quilt blocks on the uneven surface. There is also a very strong sheep smell that does transfer over to your fabric along with the fibers of the mat. I would not recommend purchasing this product. I am not sure what I can do with these mats, however I will be looking into purchasing a different one to press my quilt blocks on.

Wool ironing pad BAD
It sheds. No directions of what NOT to do. I ironed on top of my very large Omnigrid cutting mat with steam and I RUINED THE CUTTING MAT WHICH COST MORE THAN THE WOOL MAT. Warped it beyond use. They need clear instructions!

Love it! Don't hesitate buying!
I was skeptical that this mat would actually perform as advertised...I received mine and just got the chance to try it out ..omg..why did I not find this earlier in my sewing career...it most definitely works..with my old ironing board I really had to work at it just to get smooth material but this mat is magic..it flattens seams & smooths out wrinkles without an exhausting effort...I love it..

Just what I needed
I quilt and often when I iron/ press it turns out less than ideal. I had seen a video about using a wool pressing mat. I bought this set and just love it. The size is good for any size block I will press. I don't use the smaller one as much, but it is good as a place to put my iron so the heat of the iron does not damage my quilt table, which is wood. All in all, I think every quilter needs to get one of these mats.

Smells
I like the size and sturdiness of this matt, but it smells like a barnyard when I used it. I am trying to figure out a way to get rid of the stink, otherwise I am not sure I can use it🤢Beware...I got brown spots on a pillow case I was using to cover the matt, I found a spot that bleed through on one of my quilt pieces, when I tried to was it off the fabric disinigraded.

You will love this mat!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this wool pressing mat! I put it inside a pillowcase and pinned the end and also use it on top of a small table to cut my patterns on (scissors only). It swivels so easy. I simply move the pad around to cut instead of moving my material... BONUS use!

A good ironing mat for the price
These are a really nice thick set of pressing mats. I was impressed at how well they worked while ironing my quilting fabric. My only complaint is that some of the fibers are lifting already after the first use, but for the price and value it doesn’t bother me.

BIG LUMP in middle of pad
This was VERY disappointing. The small pad was great. The larger pad had a big knot in it. The side of a quarter and all the way through the pad. It made ironing on it for a quilt impossible. I received it in April. I'm STILL trying to work out a return or replacement. $45 down the drain.
