Wow, the writing and casting is superior to any TV of this day and age!

You have to start with Season 1 and work your way thru to the Final Season. It was wonderful. Many nights I had to watch one or two more episodes to see what happened. I found it entertaining, suspenseful and consuming. The plot stayed on track, grew and evolved drawing me in deeper. The characters were devious, some evil and others loyal to the cause. There were deaths that left me “OMG” and unpredictable twists and turns. I’ve watched it twice and enjoyed it the second time thru. The key female characters were beautiful and their clothing striking. I wish it could have continued but Season 4 wrapped things up without much to build on for another Season. I loved this show. If I could rate 10 I would.

Love it, Love it, Love It!!! Just make sure that if you live in the United States that you order the right format. READ READ READ, I read the reviews first and knew what format to order first and everything was fine, so just be aware of that. If you live in the USA you "can not" order the box set, as it will not play in our DVD / Blue-Ray Players because it's in a different format. You have to order each individually in the United States. I ordered ALL of the SEASONS as they are ADDICTING. It's one of those shows where you can pull a marathon to watch! So Hope you have a comfy chair and popcorn. Kick back and enjoy, you won't be disappointed!

Loved this show, perfect ending,Order came fast

You have to watch this. Every season is better than the last. Cliff hangers almost every episode. This is a well put together show. I watched season 1 when it was on TV and then life got busy and was unable to continue watching. Recently found it to Amazon and it is so good I am on the last season already. Buy it.

I binge-watched this entire series with my teenage son, who has a "thing" for Emily VanCamp. Overall, a good series, lots of twists and surprises. Season 4 broke down a bit from their previous bingeworthy model, more into an episodic structure, and it suffered for it. Still some surprises and a happy ending.

Watched several times and will Watch again

Season 3 seemed to end the series satisfyingly enough: Emily's father with reputation at last restored; main enemies Conrad and Victoria with fates so long overdue.So what to do here with twenty three episodes still to go? With tongue no doubt firmly in cheek, creators introduce yet more flamboyant characters and jaw-dropping storylines. Let critics continue to sneer about the innumerable absurdities: amongst them, enormous homes with rarely a servant in sight; people entering others' property with disconcerting ease; duplicity rampant - virtually every character with secret back-stabbing agendas. Who cares! For fans this remains unashamedly guilty pleasure time: glossy chicanery amongst the very rich: barely a character who is not over the top.I count myself a fan, but have to concede Season 4 twice pushes its luck. (SPOILER ALERT!) Introduction of psychotic Louise leads to some of the most unconvincing storylines ever, especially that marriage. Elsewhere, after a particularly dramatic episode resulting in deaths (one of them very sad), comes a ridiculous cover up plot that defies belief - a ploy to stretch out the season with a brand new implausible storyline.Initially REVENGE represented Emily's mission to destroy those who conspired against her father, causing him to die in disgrace. Now the show's title seems to concern practically everyone, so many plotting to bring others down.This being definitely the last season, too much to hope for a climax to cheer? Many fans will emerge very pleased, no doubt gasping at a last minute surprise - a twist indeed, we knowing something Emily does not.Recommended to those who have followed the previous seasons, learning long ago to take nothing seriously.

I love this show love the ending didn't see that coming but I'm glad she got the revenge that she needed plus it still leaves you with questions after the show.Did she get the heart or not wouldn't that be fun if she did receive Victoria's heart.Looked it up and Emily van... Said she didn't but who knows

I was a bit pit off by the resurrection of David Clarke at the end of Season 3, but he allows for Season 4 to fully close down the narrative without totally sacrificing Emily's character. Full on Monte Cristo.

so good I bought it to have for home viewing

This boxset is a must watch. It is a great story and well acted. Every episode leaves you wanting to watch the next one immediately. Highly recommended
