Davidson's Tea Bulk, Earl Grey, 16-Ounce Bag

This is, hands down, the best Earl Grey tea I have ever had. The aroma is outstanding and fresh, the taste is sensational. No other brands were the same after trying this. Tazo, Numi, Equal Exchange - all pale in comparison. And at just over $20/lb, this loose leaf is a brainer.

I have tried many different brands of Earl gray, and I can say without exaggeration that hands down this brand is PHENOMENAL!It's loose leaf. So I love that I control how strong my tea is. I love to make London fog lattes with this Earl Gray because the milk doesn't water down the classic earl grey flavor (bergamot), that's how strong this brand is.It comes in a resealable bag. This bag keeps it extremely fresh. The first thing you notice when you open the bag is the scent. It hits you like a ton of bricks. It's strong, deep, and fresh. I wish I could dive in and live in there lol.I first had this brand at a coffee shop in Asheville, North Carolina. I ordered a London Fog latte (for those who aren't familiar, it is typically Earl Gray loose leaf tea steeped in a smaller amount of water, some sort of steamed 'milk' is added, and typically one or two shots of vanilla syrup). It was the best one I had ever had which prompted me to ask the staff what brand they used. They showed me the bag and it was this brand, Davidson's Organics. I was so psyched when I goy on Amazon and found it. The price is phenomenal too, $15 for 1 lb. The bag is HUGE! It has lasted me almost a year. That's even with me using 3 heaping teaspoons a day in my cup! And that's also with me sharing quite a bit w friends. I had one friend who used to swear by Tazo brand earl gray, as soon as she tried this brand she switched over :)

I’m moving away from using tea bags with microplastics - who knew? My husband introduced me to this brand of tea as a Christmas gift, and I have since ordered the Earl Grey, I absolutely love it! It has a wonderful flavor and aroma and is not bitter. I've enjoyed all 4 of the varieties we’ve tried. The Earl Grey comes in a large, stay-fresh pouch and will definitely last a long time. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys quality loose-leaf tea.

I have bought this Earl Grey tea repetitively and it is definitely my go to tea that I drink everyday. Generally I have noticed that most earl grey teas accomplish the scent of the tea but quite a few do not get the flavor of early grey, or it is weak. This earl grey tea does a great job having a strong scent and taste while still being smooth to drink. There's a reason why this is my favorite everyday tea.The only reason for the 4 stars versus the 5 is that in the past I have received some batches (not many only a couple orders) of tea that are a lite on the flavor side of things compared to the usual that I have come to expect of the Davidson's Earl Grey. Overall, highly recommend this tea. If you like Earl Grey tea, go for it!

(See newer edit below this original review)I love most Earl Grey, but this tea is just so overpowering with bergamot it tastes like drinking perfume. I don't know what I'm going to do with over 400 grams of it, probably give it away once I find someone who actually likes it.If you do drink it, I suggest using very little but then you get barely any flavor.If you want a delicious Earl Grey, try the Vanilla Creme from the UptonTea website. My coworker introduced me to it and I haven't found a better tea yet.EDIT: I was wrong. I assumed that if I used a little it would have a weak taste, but you know what they say about people who assume. This is a very good tea when you only use half a teaspoon or so and only let it steep for 3 minutes. It tastes very reminiscent of Fruity Pebbles because of sweet fruity taste that the bergamot brings out.If you're finding it too strong, just dial it back and give it a second chance. I'm glad I did because now it is one of my favorite (although it still doesn't top Upton's Vanilla Creme)

I'm a tea addict. From September to April I drink a half gallon of hot tea everyday. This is by far the best Earl Grey out there. Makes Stash taste like trash. Amazing tea as a base and the best bergamot I ever tasted. This is my go-to tea. It makes the best iced tea as well.

I have been using Stash Earl Grey for years and stumbled upon this one and thought I'd give it a try since it's Organic. WOW!! Loved it on the first sip, it is really strong compared to other Earl Greys I have tried. I just love it, tastes great!! I went out of my way to write a review for this product since I enjoy it so much, also it's a great price compared to Stash and other brands.. I will continue to purchase this brand from now on.

The Bergamot is real and the smell is good

Ordered this to make ice milk tea but seems not very suitable as didn’t get much tea compare to others I’ve been been trying. Little too strong bergamot fragrance that isn’t very my style. Other than that looking good and packed well.
