Linus the Vegetarian T. rex

Love the book bought it for my niece (my brother and sister in law are Vegan, so I thought it fitting to buy this book)

I love this book! So many children's books for veggie families tend to emphasize the horrors of meat production, and there's a time for that, just not for my kids right now. This book is light and whimsical and cute. It helps normalize our dietary lifestyle in a way that is miles away from preachy or traumatizing!

Perfect for my vegetarian son! I love, love this so much!

It was a wonderful book with a fantastic message ! I read it to my kids class at school and the teacher enjoyed it so much , I gave it to her!

Cute book! A great introduction to Vegetarian / Vegan lifestyle without getting too deep in facts. Perfect for younger kids and also great for older kids. When Linus doesn't want to eat the other dinosaurs and is asked, "But Linus don't you know what kind of Dinosaur you are?" and he says, "A very popular one!" we love that part :)

Love the book, the story is so sweet and fun to read to my son. It was in good condition just missing some parts on the outside of the book.

I was surprised about the story... was a little different than I expected but it is a cute book and will be fun to read to our daughter who is being raised in a non-meat eating house.

This book is fantastic. I bought it for my 20 month old boy because I was starting to think about how to introduce vegetarian principles. I thought it would be a bit too old for him but he has chosen it every night for story time since - He just loves it! The messaging is fun and subtle and I would highly recommend

I chose this book when doing a talk to my daughter's friends (aged 2.5 - 5) about why we are vegetarian at her Preschool. Many come from a farming background and I felt comfortable that this story expressed our message without anyone feeling judged. The illustrations are nice and bright and the story is fairly good.

This is my son's favourite book. The illustrations are fantastic, the story is funny and entertaining. It's an instant classic!

I was left feeling a little meh about this book. It’s a veeeeeery subtle, passive book about a dinosaur who eats plants because other dinosaurs are his friends.The book is more about how popular Linus is vs WHY he’s a vegetarian. There isn’t really a conversation about it at all and the only reason I’ll be keeping this on my bookshelf is because of the word “vegetarian” in the title. I want to empower my daughter and will therefore use this book to strike up a conversation about the title... more so than enjoy the story of the book itself.

Ordered this for my 4 year old nephew to read at bedtime after seeing a copy at the Royal Tyrell museum. It’s a really cute story!
