Pacer Performance 25-535 Black Bumper Protector Pad Kit - 2 Piece

Not sure what bumper Protectors some are talking about.They say fall off after a few months. I have previously ordered 3 setsof these. installed them around 2010-2011 the six arein place May 2016, exactly where I placed them. Just ordered another setto place on side of the Bumper. I have a 2005 Toyota Highlander.Maybe before attaching them ( Sticky side) clean the Bumper of any waxdry it. and then place them on the Bumper. Just saying Just saying.

Had the bumper protector installed on my new Honda CRV. These were easy to install and and looked great initially. However, 3 months later one of the protector just came off and the other was loosely dangling. And this is with my car being parked in indoors in a garage and sparingly driven. I was quite disappointed as it was obvious that the 3M glue on the protector pad was of cheap and not durable quality. I contacted the customer service with the issue and was informed that the product might not have been installed properly and the 30-day return time limit has past. I wondered if I had not installed the product properly, how did it stay installed for 3-months! Anyway, I've decided not to order any other product from this company as they can't stand behind their product. My suggestions is that these pads are ok and clearly not worth more than a couple of dollars as one will have to buy new ones every few months!

I only installed them a couple of weeks ago so I hope they will work well to prevent other cars front license plate bolts from scratching up my rear bumper. I installed them about a foot apart centered with 4 corner bumper guards. They all look like they are factory installed. They look like they are part of the car. BLACK.They look great and installed easily. Just make sure you know measure properly and use guides. First times a charm. Measure twice, cut once. I am a perfectionist so they look GREAT.

I first ordered these for my rear bumper back in 2018. They worked great, and never lost their adhesion. When I eventually had my bumper repainted, I had to replace them with another order. These also held just fine. A couple of months ago, I came out to my car to discover that someone had scraped my bumper pulling out of their parking spot, pulling one of the bumper protectors off in the process. No problem, I'll just order another set and have an extra. The the new one immediately started peeling off the bumper under its own miniscule weight. No matter how many times I pressed it back on, it just wouldn't hold. It eventually fell off while I was driving, so I had to replace it with the spare protector in the set. Same issue. It only lasted a day. After seeing the recent negative reviews, I reluctantly purchased another set of these. I've already lost the first bumper protector, and am considering adding my own adhesive to the other before attempting to install. I don't know if Pacer is no longer using genuine 3M adhesive, or if it's a bad batch from their supplier, but these absolutely will not hold to your car paint. I alcohol rinsed and prepped the paint before installing, too.

Update: 02/11/2019Looking to add these to front of Volvo XC70--front is unprotected. Put a bumper license plate holder on it, and looking to add a pair of these, one on each side of the license plate. It is a very flat surface so should stick. Did not work on the front of my other Volvo, but did on the back bumper.Wish manufacturer's would include such things on their cars to protect the finish of the bumpers--what is a bumper intended for, but to protect.Update: 10/13/2018The ones I installed on the rear of my Volvo in 2014 are still attached, after 4 years. Just tried to put a set on the front bumper. At first they fell off overnight, one on its back, the other glue-side down. Cleaned the latter and tried again. I had washed the car and clay barred the bumper. Pressed them on, then putting criss-crossed blue masking tape to hold--for two days. But they still would not stick. Cannot try again because the sticky two-side tape is compromised from the pulling and such. Maybe because the area of the bumper is not flat?Looking for another solution. They looked good on the rear bumper. And had helped when another car kissed my rear bumper. BTW, I have helicopter tape on my rear bumper--and that really helps.>>>Cheap and easy to attach, that is the best feature, not much else available--far from perfect, but will do for minimal low impact protection.Shiny surface mars easily, and product does not protrude enough to prevent high impact damage, especially if the pad distorts and compresses upon impact, which it would appear to do--not a solid pad, but hollow.Hopefully will help a little bit. It is better than nothing. For light kisses only, nothing heavy.

I took a chance on these and didn't know what to expect. Wow!!! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Thick and weighty with strong bonding 3M tape. Two are included and I bought two sets. Two sets cover more area and look really cool. They look great and no bumper dings and covered some I already had -Bonus! I divided the bumper in 4 sections and pre-measured where I was putting them. Once that tape backing is peeled and touches the surface, its on, so be sure to plan out the placement and press on tight for a few minutes to be sure. This is a much better looking and much cheaper (in price) alternative than those ugly overpriced and ridiculous place mat looking like its hanging out the back of the trunk fiasco. I highly recommend these. Some guy got off his moped and walked over to me, I thought I was getting attacked but instead he asked me where I got my awesome looking bumper guards, I told him and we both were laughing how pathetic those flappy hanging mats look stupid. Get these - save money, protect your fragile bumper and in my opinion make your car look cool. Can't go wrong.
