RK Racing Chain 520-SO-82 82-Links O-Ring Chain with Connecting Link

Fits chain just fine, issue is that the plate will not slide over the posts to get the clip in place...had to drill out the plate in order for it to slide on enough to get the clip on. This wasn't an issue on just one, but all 3 that I ordered.

Mostly dirt riding on a DR Z-400S. Regularly maintained. Price is good, but I'm going to head back to a DID and see what in the overall cost per mile is.

I ordered this chain with a bunch of other parts for a drive-train overhaul and the chain is missing the connecting link. It's annoying to not be able to install the chain immediately, but also not really worth the hassle to return the item and wait for a new one... tried to contact Amazon but the only option is to return, not be sent a replacement link. Oh well.

The chain itself I suppose is ok or should be, it looks durable and well built. However, I just installed it so no real way of knowing if is a good product or not. I was disappointed as I did not receive the connector link. The price was great, but I had to purchase a connector link separately, so that's disappointing. I believe the package was shipped in the box the chain itself comes in from the manufacturer. While I like the fact that no additional boxed or plastic was used to ship this chain, it does look like the box tore during shipping and the link fell out. Or, it was shipped that way.

Nice! I didn't have any issues. I received genuine RK chain. No missing link or stickers. I have no idea how or why others reviewed having a difficult time installing the master link. I had no issues doing so, guess I'm among those who know how to install a master link lolThe chain wax is off the hook! Damn this stuff is sticky! Wear gloves and you will be throwing away any rags used. RK chain has always been one of my go to chains.

Part was delivered on time and efficiently. I paired it with an XSO-114 chain. Came with a small packet of grease and the necessary 0-rings. Highly recommend you use a c-clamp paired with a nut or and actual chain tool to ensure the posts are seated properly. There are two small hair-line lines that need to be showing in order for the clip to "snap" into place. I do not recommend drilling out the clip to make it fit. If the clip is open, it hasn't been seated properly. Will probably buy and extra to keep in the bike just in case.Bike: 2014 Honda NC700X

Purchased this chain for a Suzuki Z-400 quad I was borrowing. My original intent was to buy a lesser grade chain and install on this quad before returning . After some thought out consideration I decided I would go ahead and purchase my buddy the better chain. Glad I did because not a week later he offered to sell me the atv at a discount and now I do not have to worry about constant maintenance on a lesser grade chain.Chain arrived in perfect condition sealed in a pack with lube still tacky and not dried up like I have purchased from local shops in the past.This is a durable chain at solid price and I am glad I chose this route.

It seems to be a nice chain, it was pretty easy to install and my bike seems to run a lot smoother with the new chain. There were enough links left over and I added a couple more master links so I put together a small repair kit incase I have any trouble out in the field.

3 stars since the box was beat all to hell and there was no connecting link included, I can only assume it fell out of the box before it even shipped as it wasn't in the Amazon envelope either. Luckily I also ordered an extra matching quick link to have as a spare, so I could still install it. Chain came nicely covered in a thick, waxy packing grease, cleaned that off and gave a light coat of proper chain lube and it works fine, great replacement for the stock chain.

Nothing worse than riding light trail or blacktop, having a chain break is bad enough, but not having something to cobble it together is worse.I bought this not as my main-part but only as a spare.Some people don't like clip links compared to press fit pins which will typically hold better, but as a get out of trouble part of your kit, can't be beat!yeah, price is also great!

The link has precision drilled holes on the outer side plate which won't allow you to compress it over the two pins enough to insert the clip (Unless you are carrying a special chain compression tool with you).I had to ream the holes slightly in order to have it fit.There should be a warning label stating that "additional tools are required to install this".

Does not include a master link as advertised. Chain in the same as any other and fast shipping but useless without the master link as stated in the product description. Have to postpone riding another few days and ANOTHER 26 DOLLARS FOR A MASTER LINK! not worth the money when added to cost of the chain and the hassle of not getting the parts you've payed for.

Made a mistake by buying a JT chain ( over my usual RK) to save a few bucks, stupid move , went back to RK chain. JT sprockets are great , JT chains are junk imho.
