We love this skimmer! It is sturdy and the netting is fine enough that it picks up lots of the small stuff on the water surface that you can see but never can seem to get rid of. Our last 2 skimmers lasted only a few months before they ripped. I was searching for a more durable skimmer and.came across tbis one - which cost less than the flimsy skimmers we had been purchasing from a local pool supply company. A great product and we will come here first for all of our pool needs - price and quality - amazing how those two "little" things are so hard to find these days!!

This is an outstanding skimmer. Much better than the regular duty options. Well designed and works well. Especially like the deep sides and the ability to use to help scrape items off bottom / sides. I have a 28' above ground pool out in the country and use my skimmer everyday.While it's difficult to get extremely excited about a pool skimmer, it is a very well designed and built product. The manufacturer gets an A+ for taking an ordinary tool and turning it into something really nice which should last a good long while. Kudos.

Brush is sturdy. Good size and shape to extra debris. It fits well on the handle made for pool screens and brushes. The lip on it is a good design and helps hold debris in place until brush is lifted out of the pool. It does remove most debris in the pool, but I was expecting the mesh to be a bit finer. It will get out tree needles and normal size debris that one might expect in a pool. Good size netting. If mesh was finer, I'd give even higher rating.

I have an in-ground pool and need to replace my leaf skimmer every year. This year I decided to invest in the SharkBlu Heavy Duty pool skimmer. So far so good. It is made differently than all of my past purchased skimmers from Walmart & the Pool stores. It is incredibly well made and even if something happens I know I will have the support of SharkBlu to fix the issue.The team at SharkBlu including the CEO seems committed to ensuring my satisfaction. I have never had that with any product. I am giving this 5 stars!!

Unbelievably disappointing. Only 3 months out of it before it broke. My skim habit is that I skim the pool surface, and then flick it out of the way, bumping the pole against my hand to release the debris and continue the process. On a flick of it, it broke at the point of the first clip you see at the top of the part that goes into the pole. I hadn't exceeded the capabilities of it, as I never overloaded it. I contacted the seller on the 9th and haven't heard back from them on an exchange or refund (with today being the 11th, close to midnight, bringing on the 12th. I would have to recommend you stay away from one that has a plastic frame and go for one with a metal frame. I would also recommend you order one with a solid, displayed warranty period. "Contact the vendor for warranty period" is beyond vague. While it's been over 20 years since I owned a pool, I remember that I had one when I previously owned a pool, that it was a metal frame, and I got over 5 years use out of it. Not even a full season's use means you're paying 20 bucks for a very expensive disposable. VERY disappointing that I never heard back from the seller.

1st of all - SharkBlue has great quality. The skimmer moulding is 'heavy duty'. It also has both types of pool extension pole tips (the round ones AND the longer, oval ones too) for your extension pole preference. Here's my rub: the actual netting doesn't have a lot of 'play' in it. In other words, the netting is very 'tight' which makes it much easier for items skimmed in the pool to fall off and back into the pool (contrary to what you are trying to accomplish right?!?). The netting should have a little bit more 'play' in it IMO. So, I'm returning it and getting the Deep-Bag pool rake (which will hold more volume of contents with the extra netting). Unfortunately for SharkBlue we choose the Swimline 8040 Professional Heavy Duty Deep-Bag Pool Rake at $15.98 vs. $29.95 for SharkBlu's equivalent Pool Rake.

Haven't used it yet, but the quality looks good and I really like the design over the current one. It also looks like it will work better at scooping things from the bottom of the pool. I'm sure it will work great, but will contact seller if I have a problem."

This is way better than anything I have used in the 10 years I have had a pool. The design makes it quick and easy to get floaty things and bottom stuff both. It has held up in the Houston sun since March, 2016 and still looks new. Forget using the bag type net. Those neither last nor work as well. This lasts and works.
