NOT For Indoor Use
NOT FOR INDOOR USE. When I first bought this, the description said indoors, and I remember pictures of it hanging inside. It still says for use in “apartments”. I hung these up inside my deep windowsill walls, but had to contact paper the walls first because dirt and water will definitely leak from that material. It’s just a sturdy felt. When you water the plants it will leak all over the wall and floor.Putting dirt and plants in there doesn’t make sense for indoor use unless it’s getting sun straight on. Plants will grow towards the sun, and this is not a product where you can rotate plants in. This is cool for outdoor use over a fence or wall. I still have it hung up indoors, but took the dirt out and use quart containers in it instead. This way I can rotate plants as needed.

Get a shorter one!
The bottom two pockets flood and have molded. I'd suggest a shorter one instead. When we hung it, the fabric tore from the weight, so we stapled it to a board for reinforcement. I like it, don't love it.

How many planters with seven pockets are in the shipment?
I've enjoyed using these hanging planters and am hoping to purchase some more. I have five and have used them for about 6 months in total after receiving them over two years ago. They were put away for the winter. One is ripping where the holes to hang them is located. I haven't filled them full of soil but stuff them with fabric and put a small amount of soil in. Oddly, the lightest one is tearing. Not sure if I received all five for $14.99 in April of 2017, but if it is just one planter with seven pockets for $29.99, I won't be ordering them again. They are cute and if there are at least a few in the order, I'll reorder.....if not, they are not worth $29.99 for 6 mnths of use.

It's ok if you don't care about growing plants.
We place them in the sun and tries watering them accordingly in the summer but nothing really grew. Disappointed with this. The 3 stars are for the design and looks and nothing else.

So so...
The felt ripped and one planter is no longer usable, but the other does its job. Doesn't retain water like it said it would, but it works for now.

Water drains too quickly which required daily watering. I would add a plastix pocket in each section

Got moldy and gross within a few months. Didn't last long.
