FQ FQ777-124 Pocket Drone 4CH 6Axis Gyro Quadcopter with Switchable Controller RTF, Black

My 9 1/2 year old Newphew loves this. Decided to buy this little pocket drone as a "test" run. He has been wanting a drone with camera for a while but WOW super expensive!! Seems one second they want it next they don't.. His birthday is approaching so I decided to send him this first to see if it was something he was still interested in, second if it would be age appropriate, third and most importantly if he would take care of it. Well seems he has more than proven himself. These are tiny. And he has done a fabulous job taking care of it.mlike I said he REALLY enjoyed it and it is a Great little drone for inside/outside. You will LOVE this!

Small size is great. Unfortunately the protecting prop guard is flimsy and broke on the first crash. Fun to fly. Very responsive but tough for beginners.

This was a borderline four/five star product for me! I had to knock off the one star for some of the cons I'll list even though given the price point and fun per dollar they simply aren't a big deal.Pros:I love the integrated case in the controller and controller charging options.It flies great!It's very durable (crashed many times and still flies fine).Reeeeeeaaaaally fun to play withCheapMy dogs love it (ha ha ha)Tame enough for indoor flight in basic mode but aggressive enough for outdoor flight in "high" mode.Pretty good battery life vs. charge time for a micro-drone.It's cute as can be!Cons:The return home and headless mode don't really seem to operate as I'd expect.Controller must be turned ON for the charge from controller function to work (bugs me for some reason).Cannot easily charge the drone WHILE the drone is actually setting IN the integrated spot for it on the controller.Ancillary controls on the controller like trims/headless/return/flip/etc. are not very intuitively placed (though not hard to figure out and label).One of the two blue tail LED lights on mine kind of randomly works or doesn't depending on the mood it's in.Integrated battery.Other notes:I own a larger drone/quad for outdoor flying (still just a toy-class item) but I wanted something small enough that I can effectively fly around indoors. The larger drone CAN be flown indoors (technically) but it's simply not ideal for a number of probably obvious reasons. This one vs. the larger drone can be described as "kinda twitchy" but definitely manageable once you get the hang of it. It's quicker reaction to input has actually improved my tendency to overcorrect when flying my larger drone so it's served as a pretty good trainer.What surprised me is that I flew it outside today even with a mild breeze simply by putting it into it's high power mode. It can actually deal with a really mild head or cross wind like that. I do have some outdoor flying experience with my larger quad though so that does help you get used to dealing with how they react to wind.I don't think it would have been all that hard to make this drone with a removable/swappable battery. There are micro-connectors available similar to the one used to charge the battery on it that I don't think would be prohibitive in weight even for this tiny thing. At the moment I'm going to leave it alone but sooner or later I'll probably mod it to have a swappable battery (I can't leave anything alone for very long).Anyway the bottom line is I wouldn't hesitate to recommend one of these to a friend, already have in fact, and I'd buy it again if (okay... WHEN) I break this one! This would be a great gift too because I can't think of anyone who's into RC or drones being disappointed to get one even if they have other drones or even if they already have one of these exact ones.

Cute, but extremely difficult to fly. The instructions are very vague and incomplete. It really just goes up, does not hover because the speed will not adjust. The blade guard is poorly engineered, so that it shifts while in flight, hitting and stopping the blades, which makes it crash of course. Such a shame because it has really cool little motors, but I will definitely go for a different model next time. This was a gift for my son, so I feel bad that it is not a better little drone.

Poor design, battery last two minutes when it does, parts get separated easily. You will spend more time repairing and putting the parts together than playing with it; propellers separate from the drone very easy, the protective band from around the propellers hit the propellers some times because is not well attached to where they are supposed to be, so at the slide separation it will hit the propellers and they will stop moving.

I bought 4 for my grandchildren for Christmas. Unfortunately after several minutes of flying frenzy, 1 of them malfunctioned (perhaps my granddaughter landed it too hard?). When I asked Amazon for a refund, I was contacted quickly by the seller. They gave me a few hints, but were unable to solve the flight problem. So they volunteered to send a replacement--without me having to return the original. It just arrived and my granddaughter is happy again! Great fun for a very reasonable price.

its ok fro a few days , portable but the props bend too easily and wear out, also the prop guard is not of very much help, although it was fun flying this mini drone !!

I give this 4 stars because the built in battery simply stops taking a charge after 6 weeks or so.I just want to say that this is an awesome way to learn, I bought it for my son, but ended up using it mostly myself. It takes quite a bit of coordination, when you're new to it, but this has a surprising amount of control. Within a couple weeks I could comfortably fly it in nice round circles around the room without having the ass end of it facing me, I could fly it facing me, away from me, drive it through the rooms, down the hallway, upstairs, etc without running into the walls. Great for scaring the family dog. My only gripe is the built in battery is not replacable and it will eventually fail completely, leaving you 1 option, throwing it in the trash. So as long as you go into it, knowing its a disposable product with the time limit, then you'll enjoy it while it works.

Poor product. Not flying. Never start. I dont recommended it.
