Stylish and worked well

DID NOT COME WITH KEYS.You NEED the keys in order to use this product.I tried to contact company several times with no answer and no option to leave a voicemail.Luckily I tried every key I had at home, and one of them worked. If I wouldn’t have found that, my family vacation would’ve been miserable without the extra space.

So after a bunch of indecision, I bought this for my 2021 Subaru Forester. While it says it does not come with instructions, it does have a little pict-o-gram sheet of warnings. Overall, installing was pretty easy and I did it myself about two hours before departing for a family vacation. Install time was about 45 minutes, but it was pretty straight forward. I was able to do it all myself.Should you get it? Yeah. It's an affordable alternative, has low (no) wind noise, and kept my tents, towels, and camp chairs dry during a rainstorm. And it doesn't look awful and it's a great spot for random stickers you pick up along your adventures.

This box is every bit as good as carriers that cost twice as much. Drove from Michigan to Florida and back, and it still looks like new!

It is kind of fragile. Especially when it is cold

Just completed 3,500 miles in two weeks, including torrential rain, snow, 60+ mph wind gusts, and blazing sun. Totally worth it! Everything stayed dry and the inter straps kept things from shifting around. Comes with stickers to cover the unused holes on the bottom, they did their job, but one has already come loose.If, like me, you try to stuff it past capacity with squishy things (duffle/sleeping bags, dog bed, etc): The lid will not close without assistance. I didn't have a second person around to hold the lid down while I locked it, so ratchet straps to the rescue!Attached to old yakima round bars, it was less noisy than the bars alone.Felt like the size was a good choice, given the 100lb capacity of my bars.The profile change was noticeable in the wind and with gas consumption.Easier to install with two people, but not impossible if you're alone.

Before I purchased this roof storage container I entered in our car, a 2019 Toyota RAV4 and they said it fit. It does not. The crossbars on the car are not adjustable (design flaw of the car) and the holes are not far enough apart to secure the container. I managed to make it work by drilling additional holes but this makes me somewhat concerned about the stability and safety so I will monitor closely. Pretty disappointed with this purchase. My recommendation is to get the exact measurements of the crossbars and compare it to the distance between the holes on the container before making a purchase.
