I was a little doubtful about these when I purchased them. I live out in the country in Florida and have a pond on our property. So, going outside at night was not really a reality. Within seconds, you would be chased back indoors. When this product arrived, I was a little chicken to try it. I asked my son the put one on and then go out and work in the yard for a while. He said that the mosquitoes buzzed around him, but they never landed on him or bit him. Finally, I decided to try it myself. One night after a rain storm (when the mosquitoes get real bad here), I put one on and wore it in the house for about 15 minutes and then went outside and walked around in the grass of the yard. Not one bite. I could hear them buzzing near me, but not one mosquito landed on me and not one mosquito bit me. I was out there for about 20 minutes about 30 minutes later than dusk. I was pleased and surprised at how well this product performed. I can't remark on how long the repellant action will last. I took off the bracelet when I came back in the house and placed it inside a zip lock bag. My husband used it a couple days later and it still did its job. I will NEVER spray stinky sticky bug spray on my body again.

My wife and I go camping with our small son 2 to 4 times a year typically and obviously, once the sun goes down (especially during the summer), the mosquitoes come out. I have never been a big fan of the DEET sprays because they are greasy and hard to clean off. The latest medical research also indicates that they can affect behavior in prepubescent boys. For these reasons I never used DEET sprays with my son and when we first began to camp, I found myself looking for something more natural.The biology of family Culicidae (mosquitoes) is all about odor detection and pheromones. And it turns out, all you need is to mask your own odor with something that mosquitoes avoid. One of the best natural chemicals that they avoid is citronella oil. (this and it's organic derivatives is the reason mosquitoes tend to avoid citrus fruit trees). These bracelets are infused with citronella oil and other natural mosquito repellents (like Indonesian lemon grass oil) and do a great job of keeping mosquitoes away.Now, most mosquito repellent bracelets advertise the same general benefits; that they last up to 200 hours and will keep mosquitoes up to 3 meters away from you. In real life, if we cut through the marketing BS, the bracelets work well during the first 24 to 36 hours, the next 24 to 36 hours they work okay, and after about 72 hours, they no longer work that well. The bracelets also do not keep mosquitoes 10 feet away. The bugs will still fly in close to you, but quickly detect the smell and then move on. Also, the bracelets are not so strong that if you are wearing one on your neck for example, that it will deter a female mosquito from biting your ankle. So, if you choose to try these bracelets, just remember that they last realistically about 72 hours and work up to about half a meter (or perhaps 2 feet). When my small son uses these, he typically wears one on his neck, one on his wrist and one on his ankle. And that is usually enough to prevent all mosquito bites.Overall, I really like the bracelets. They are far more natural and better for anyone than DEET sprays. I am taking off one star because the organic chemists who are the brains behind the bracelet manufacture, really need to do just a little bit better job with a slower release system of citronella oil odor. But other than that minor gripe, I like the bracelets and recommend buying them in packs of ten. One pack typically lasts the three members of my family for one entire 3-4 day camping trip. And I would highly recommend these bracelets to other families with small children.

The price is right at 83 cents each and they seem to work. The resealable bag is thick enough not to smell the citronella and it reseals well. I do wish they were individually wrapped in their own zip pouches but, I put the "in use" ones in a zip lock bag in a zip lock bag. I would buy them again!

We used these during a trip to Tuscany in August, when the mosquitoes were definitely out in force. The bracelets were unobtrusive, didn't stink up our entire bodies or clothing, and worked remarkably well for being so small. I think in a seriously insect-infested area, wearing one bracelet on a wrist and one on an opposing ankle would be perfect.

These were delivered today just before I was going to work in my yard. Mosquitoes love me. My feet and ankles are covered with mosquito bites already this summer. I put 1 of these on each ankle, then worked outside for an hour. I saw mosquitoes, but I never was landed on or bit--first time all summer!!! I've tried other products claiming to prevent pesky mosquitoes from biting, but this is the only product that has worked for me. THANK YOU!

Mosquitos seem to flock to me as soon as I step outside and wearing one on my ankle and wrist seems to help a lot. I still supplement with bug spray but for quick visits to the patio these work great. They come in a nice zip lock package and after a few months I am still using the same bracelets. It has a slight smell but I don't find it unpleasant at all. I plan to take these camping and also keep one in my purse in a ziplock to maintain its freshness.

Product arrived on time and was in good shape. I am a 100% Disabled Veteran and it is difficult for me to go chasing around swatting these pests. I needed help and the bug specialist wouldn't be able to help for several days. I looked online for Amazon and found your product, ordered it and it works great.putting one of your stickers high on my shoulder in hopes of keeping them away from my face and it worked. If I need to reorder I won't hesitate to purchase it again.

Bought these for a trip to Honduras and Belize because of the Zika issues. Wore one on wrist and opposite ankle per another reviewers suggestion (Thank you reviewer for that helpful hint!). No mosquitos or gnats even came close.Back in the states, my sister-in-law is plagued by biting flies, gnats and mosquitos while doing yard work. She has allergy issues with insecticides and DEET and hadn't found anything that worked. I gave her some of these and suggested the opposite wrist/ankle wearing. She reported that for the first time EVER she had ZERO bug issues and was amazed at how well these worked! None even came near her! And as soon as she took them off she was surrounded by the pests again. So they really do work. I would/will purchase again and in fact plan to send my sis-in-law more of these!
