The Easy Cut 3000 features an easy-to-squeeze trigger that activates a self-retracting blade. Pulling the box cutter against the box keeps the blade extended, and pulling away from the box automatically retracts the blade. The holster/lanyard system prevents employees from placing the box cutter in pockets or leaving it out.

It's ok
The only thing my husband doesnt like is the blade retracts after leaving contact with cases. Cutting cases of canned good gets frustrating when the plastic doesnt cut all the way around the case. But thats it. Everything else is good.

The Easy Cut 300 from Safecutters is one great product.The blade can be set to different depths to insure the contents of the box don't get damaged.The blade automatically retracts if it leaves the box you are cutting.Safecutters' service is excellent!
