MeiLiMiYu Full Shape 6 Hoop Skirt Ball Gown Petticoat Underskirt Slip for Wedding Dress Adjustable Waist

I purchased this hoop for my daughter to wear with a ball gown that I purchased for her for her surprise Sweet 16. I made sure to look for one that was adjustable because well, you can't be too careful when it comes to something like this and it was perfect. When we initially put the dress on with the hoop, the dress was very full but too short! I made the hoop smaller and the dress was the perfect length. The boning adjusted with little effort and the tie waist is WAY better than an elastic waistband. Growing up I was in a youth organization and we were required to wear formal dresses to our meetings so I have had several hoops and for the price, this hoop is a steal! I remember ours were $60 to $80 and some weren't adjustable. This was good quality and a great price.

I bought the hooped petticoat to go under a very full skirt I use to portray an 1860s woman. (The skirt's material is way too heavy for crinolines alone.) The velcro at the waist is indeed meant for 35" or less - when will someone in manufacturing realize that not all women have waists 35" or less? - but doable. (Mine is 36"). I was able to sit down easily but when you do, make sure the chair is fairly wide. (Folding chairs work nicely.) The fun part was trying to figure out how to store the hoop set. I tie mine with the string ties and then bring the two resulting loops together, stashing it in a large plastic sack - the metal hoops won't break. You may have to do some slight reshaping to the hoops the next time you wear them, but that's minor. There is a plus to hoops: I was at a venue that was getting warm, and a slight 'bell' movement kept the air around my legs fairly cool! :) Bottom line: for the price, you can't beat this petticoat!

I used the wedding dress and the slip fir my wedding of course. They went together beautifully! I was very please in the way it fit. Only had to take it in, in the back

The product I received looked exactly like the photos and behaved very well. Truely white in color and had no broken wires. The hoops easily move downwards when sitting. Folding it was a learning curve, however.

It does exactly what it's intended for to poof out the dress. Fits well and comfortably.
