Works flawless.

I'm running Windows 7 32 bit in a Dell 2400. Yes, that is possible, using a couple of internet tweaks regarding the graphic resolution (you have to download a different video driver and enable it in XP mode).I'm also running 2GB of memory. Dell had 1GB as the max but that was when the only sticks available were 512MB. The 845 chipset WILL handle 2GB max.The 8400GS graphics card is the perfect companion for the video. The Intel onboard graphics are quite limited so this speeds up Youtube videos quite reasonably considering the limitations of the original motherboard. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess it probably will not handle a 512MB card so the 256 may be the max. I'm using the VGA port but it has DVI and HDMI ports as well. It's fanless but the heatsink is quite large and appears to handle the video easily. You're not gonna get 1080p, but the 2400's limitations are to be expected. The 478pga processor is an archaic technology and PCI is falling by the wayside. But I suspect there are millions of these perfectly useable computers still in service. This card breathes a little life into them.

I cannot get the card to work. I've tried to download the latest driver, then I took it into my companies IT group, they did not have any luck with it.

Purchased this for a PC running Linux and it worked perfectly right out of the box. Has given new life to an older platform.

Didn't fix the problem so it was returned.

needed this for an old lenovo server i turned into a desktop. it handles dual screen and the hdmi out is a plus.

very good card for an older computer, updated to windows 10 and it works great.
