A hand vacuum is convenient. It's lighter than a full size vacuum and can clean up lots of more localized messes as opposed to a routine vacuuming of an entire room. But, most of them are weak and clog quickly. Batteries run down after what seems like only minutes. Enter the Scorpion. It has a powerful motor that actually moves in your hand as the gyro effect takes hold when you turn it on. It is powered by a cord from an electric outlet. It comes with a filter that lasts for a while but eventually becomes coated with debris. Emptying the filter is a chore because the cobwebs, pet hair, and other dirt stick to the filter enough that while suction is not impaired, people with allergies won't appreciate having the dust stirred up while not all being contained. It was hard to find a replacement filter that was a perfect fit. This one works! Just remember not to throw away the black holder that the filter tabs attach to. This is re-used each time.

I love my vacuum and this is a great fit on my Dirt Devil! Never have to scour stores again!

Happy with the purchase and the filters work just as well as the original. I did not realize at the time the filter attaches to a reusable plastic base when I threw the old filter in its entirety in a trashcan in the garage. Luckily, it was a few days before trash pickup so I was able to retrieve the old filter with the base on it. As long as you remember that, these work just fine.

Inexpensive, good quality and very similar to the original filter that came with the vacuum.

This style and size of filter fit my 'Dirt Devil SD20005RED Red Scorpion Handheld Vacuum Cleaner" Corded w/ suction flip, purchased about 8 years ago. You just unclip the old filter from the gray plastic fitted ring inside and clip in the new filter.

THE ORIGINAL DIDNT NEED AN ADAPTER, I THINK THE AFTERMARKET DID A GREAT JOB MAKING THEM WITH A SEPARATE ADAPTER.BUT TOOK HOURS TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO FIND THEM IN MY MODEL WITHOUT GOOGLING MANY TIMES. THERE ARE QUITE A FEW AFTERMARKETS THAT CLAIM THEIRS FIT YOUR MODEL. LUCKILY I WAS ABLE TO FIND A WEBSITE THAT EXPLAINED IT ALL, AND THEN HAD TO GO BACK TO AMAZON TO BUY IT. MY MODEL NUMBER DIDNT EXIST ON AMAZON BUT THEY CARRIED THE FILTER.

Son genéricos, no termine muy convencido

It doesn't fit as snuggly on the adapter as the OEM filter it's replacing. There are no gaps, but you have to reseat it occasionally to keep it from twisting off. Other than that, the filter works fine.
