Great System...Terrible Directions Leave Out Final Steps...Must Connect Red Wire to Output 1
System is easy to install and works very well once you get power to the camera. Unfortunately the directions leave out the steps to power the camera! See below for proper connection instructions:1) At Step 6, connect your female yellow and black RCA wires to the yellow and black RCA wire on the extension harness.2) Connect the yellow male RCA input from the extension to the yellow female RCA marked Camera on the Radio side of the Harness.3) Connect the Red wire from your extension to the Red wire on the harness marked Prog Output 1. There is a rubber sleeve on Output 1. You have to remove or slide the rubber sleeve down and crimp the connections together with a pliers. Then wrap the connection with electrical tape or push the rubber sleeve back in place, then tape. (Do Not Use the Blue wire as listed as it is defaulted to off!)4) Connect the Black wire from the extension cable to the top right hand corner of Radio Frame using the Black screw on the right hand side of the frame. This is your ground. Slide the wire around the frame in the small cutout and tape the wire in place so it won't slide out when you reinstall the radio. You can also use the black wire marked Output 2 as your ground. When you mount the BCI-CH21, it is convenient to mount it just to the right of the radio frame inside the dash. Use velcro strips to mount it with the LED's facing down so you can connect it to the app later on if you want to add camera's or screens.See technical report for proper Wrangler fit - You must flatten the metal clips to make the camera fit flush in the mount!

Not worth the money
The product has some very nice features. Parking lines, GPS unlock, rear video feeds onboard programming etc. After install, it worked great and I was very happy with it. After about a week the camera started to work intermittently and then not at all. I contacted the manufacturer and they said the camera went bad and I could ship them the bad camera and they would ship me a new one( and this was at my cost and would take two weeks for the turnaround) Why would the camera fail after just one week? Why would the manufacturer not stand behind their product and make it easier to solve the issues? I ripped the entire thing out and got a full refund from Amazon. Now searching for another backup camera..,So sad

Easy to install if you watch the video - Don't even look at the instructions - works great.
Took me about 4 hours from start to finish. It really is no big deal if you watch the girl with the tats from Extreme Terrain guide you through the entire process. Really helps if you order the trim removal tools from Amazon for about $6. Worked as advertised first time! Just throw the instructions away, they are only good for starting a campfire.

Technical Support was AWESOME
I am not one to write reviews, but I had to express my SATISFACTION with this product and technical support. I have a 2012 Jeep Wrangler JK (6-speed manual) and I installed this plug and play system myself. On the initial installation I was only able to see the rear camera view in reverse once per startup. Upon talking with tech support, it took about two conversations within 45 minutes and the issue was the firmware version. I connected the PAC to my computer and downloaded the initial release version (V2) and re-installed it and it has worked consistently every time.

2 years later and it doesn't really work.
This camera was easy to install and worked great for the first year. Intermittently, it began to fail and is now entirely useless. Very disappointing.
