PRO Hand HELD Sand Scoop # 540

I ordered this for fossil hunting to load my sifter, sadly as soon as I opened my package I understood the previous reviewers comments. Visible welding sites that look like a toddler did them were left with sharp edges that could easily slice skin. I immediately packed this item up and am returning this. It’s not only an inaccurate photo of what you get, but also a safety hazard.

Very well made. Nice sturdy handle. Heavy duty. Worth the money.

The scooper is solid. Our plans are to use it beach combing for sea glass and sharks teeth(we have a beach nearby known for shark teeth fossils).

Great gift for someone who wants to sift sand on beaches.

Purchased this scoop for my dad's girlfriend who is new to "treasure hunting." The scoop arrived before the anticipated date. It's a sturdy model but not too heavy or difficult to grasp. Edges were a little rough, but the handle was comfortable.

This looks as if it was made in a high school shop class. It has sharp edges and random spray paint on it over the welds and cut edges. There is also cracks in the metal which doesn't surprise me because it's thin and very poor quality
