The Haunted Lighthouse (Jack Jones)

I bought this book for my little boy for Christmas and read through it a bit... They had a book exchange at school and I decided that it was such a cute story that I'd let him gift this to his classmate and I would just buy him the whole set of this series... I did and I'm so happy with my purchase. My boy is 8, he just finished reading this book from his set and he thoroughly enjoyed it.

My 7 year old is really getting into chapter books. He's lazy about reading them to me or himself but is now very interested in being read to from books without pictures. This has a few to keep kids interested but the story line is this is what made it so great. I have several of these books but this is at the top of the list. I read 2/3 one evening and they wanted me to finish it the next morning. It really is suspenseful but not scary.

My 10 year old is reading this book to me. He has to read 20 minutes a night for school. So it's about a chapter a night. He can't wait for reading time with this series! And it's just right for his age. He reads it beautifully without help. The books are so exciting, I can't wait to hear the next chapter. There are currently 3 in the series, so we are sad because we are on the last one. But there are 4 more coming out starting later this year. Cant wait! Keep them coming Zander Bingham!

My Grandson just loves the Jack Jones series!! He is 8 years old and begging for more. Can’t recommend enough.

My 8 yr old son devoured these books. Pirates, adventure, what’s not to love? He reads on level and these early chapter books really got him more engaged in reading.
