Loud. REALLY loud. Like "migraine" inducing loud. This thing could scare away a herd of marauding gerbils storming the beaches of Normandy. I'm not gonna lie - this thing will scare the bejesus out of your soul if someone takes it and rings it by your face while you sleep. And let's be honest - that's what we all want from a bell. I often like to use this bell while on the toilet and randomly yell out "Yatzee!!!" while ringing the bell. Enjoy!

I conditioned the stray cats to come eat when the big bell rings because..in a pinch...if I can't call them... and my partner doesnt call for kitties in a high pitched come hither voice.... and apparently won't try. SO here comes the bell. It works great. Took TWO days. The kitties are really manageable. Husband? not so much.

A lovely brass bell. Wooden handle and brass is well finished. Has a bit of weight to it so it does not feel "cheap. " Bought to replace a Santa Bell for family occasions. Happy to recommend.
