Lacks simple design improvements
I tend to use my canned olive oil spray can as it's so convenient while cooking -- however, not exactly a cost-effective option as they tend to be expensive, need frequent re-ups, and will leave my better-quality EVOO bottle unused and aging. I purchased the FAVIA Olive Oil Dispenser Bottle in hopes of 'killing 2 birds' -- by utilizing my actual olive oil and omitting oil sprays from my grocery list.Unfortunately, there are simple design flaws which lead to practically unavoidable drips and messiness. These flaws could be easily remedied with simple design improvements -- however, as it stands, the current design lacks 'common sense' and thus, I cannot recommend this product. In fact, I have already ordered a replacement that utilizes a spray nozzle bottle and separate silicone brush. Two major design flaws:1) The brim in which the pull-out silicone brush rests atop the lid is horizontal; thus, oil will remain on the brim and when the brush is returned to its resting position, the oil will be squeezed/squirted out, leaving a messy surface. The simple solution would be to have the resting-brim (flange, edge, rim, whatever...) angled downward so that the oil will drip back into the container. Even having a few drainage holes would be better than nothing.2) The nozzle (spout) is also horizontal... why not pointing up at even a slight angle? It's called 'gravity' and 'air pressure,' designers! Again, putting the brush back into its resting position will also force air out of the spout and its horizontal position will leak/squirt out drops of oil. Even careful replacement of the brush back into the lid will not prevent the eventual drip of oil due simply to gravity. A simple upward position would greatly reduce this effect.Lastly, and this is a flaw that goes beyond design, there is a major cross-contamination concern. It did not dawn on me until I was using my FAVIA Olive Oil Dispenser Bottle while prepping burgers for grilling -- the brush would have gone from touching raw meat and back into the container of olive oil. I'm no scientist or chef, but that didn't vibe with me well (especially since we're becoming more conditioned to think about germs during the covid era). I rinsed out the brush with hot water and soap before drying it with a paper towel and only then did the brush go back into the container.I have had to resort to having a paper towel in-hand whilst utilizing my FAVIA Olive Oil Dispenser Bottle -- call me picky if you must, but that's just not my idea of convenience at all... couple that with the fact that I'm always wiping down the bottle, countertop and the container's resting spot after each use -- another shout-out to my science teachers as we all know that simply using a wet towel ain't really gonna cut it either, right?Despite my critique, the FAVIA Olive Oil Dispenser Bottle would not deserve a one-star rating -- it's a good idea and simple design changes might make this into a 4-star product; however, the cross-contamination thing would require some major re-engineering for sure and perhaps this entire genre of product-concept is just non-feasible in terms of food-safety. As it stands, I cannot recommend this product.

Fairly easy and convenient to use
Bought this because the retail oil container was leaking to much for easy daily use. This dispenser does the job well enough. Not perfect, still loses a drop or two every now and then. The button on top to dispense gets stuck in the down position every now and then, but easy enough to pull back to fully extended position. The brush feature is a nice touch I think, but have not used it yet. For my use would be nice if container was a bit larger. I get about 10 days of use before I need to refill.

If you use the brush as I do, the outside of the container can get a little oily.
Since I have an olive oil dispenser (Rachael Ray) by the stove that I'm very happy with, I decided to try this little thing with the brush for canola oil. I have a new skillet with instructions not to use cooking sprays, I'm trying to get into a more ecological habit. My canola oil was thicker than the olive oil and a little bit of a challege to spread around inside the skillet, but it worked okay, with no aerosol.

Not for grilling
The product itself is fine but I had in mind to use the oil brush for grilling - which after seeing how short the brush handle is was clear that would not work at all for high heat. Not dinging the product - just a warning in case you had this mistake in mind too :)

Very nice with the built in brush
I really like the smaller size and the built in brush. I didn't give it a 5 star because it leaks a little. I am not certain why but I think putting the brush back into the lid might be pressurizing it a little. I actually use it to pump oil out of the spout. It is half full now and seems to have stopped leaking at the lid.Update: I refilled the bottle to a little below the white lid and it has not leaked for about a week while sitting on a clean white paper towel. I am changing my rating.

Nice oil dispenser
We use this product for applying oil while cooking. This product is very helpful. Easy to pour oil into the bottle and easy to apply using the brush. This model avoids the chance of leakages.

Works great!
Works great! As with all things that interact with oil, you need to clean the outside every once in a while, but as someone who buys EVOO in bulk (thanks Costco) but needs it close to hand for cooking, this thing is perfect.

Good product.
The concept is great and I do like this product. However it is easy to get sloppy with the brush and get oil on the outside of the container witch transfers to your counter or cabinet.
