Not her best writing imho
I hate to give poor reviews but this one earned it. I pre-ordered it so that I'd have it on release day and stopped reading another book so that I could read this one. Both were mistakes on my part. The story starts out interestingly enough. Felicity is a strong, likeable heroine who is on the run from her past. Ryder is the alpha hero who meets Felicity at the same time that he connects with brothers he never knew. Great premise but things take a turn for the ugly by Chapter 3. Ryder falls instantly in love and his language is stilted and repetitive; Felicity, who was so independent and confident in previous books in the series, is borderline helpless in this one and defers to the hero constantly; the four smart brothers overlook the most simplistic of solutions to protect her; and the plot predictability is a surprise given the talent Ms Stoker has demonstrated in almost every other book that I've read by her. If you want to try this author out--and I recommend that you do because she is unquestionably talented--pick almost any other book that she has penned. I'll leave it at that. Okay, one more thing: 5-stars for the bedroom scenes which are hot.

Hold your breath, you're in for a ride!
I requested and received an ARC of this book. I am reviewing of my own volition.Once again Susan Stoker has kept me up way past my bedtime. Not complaining mind you, just a fact since I couldn't put this book down. Ever since we met Felicity I wanted her to find her happily ever after.Felicity just wants her money and to leave town. There's a reason she doesn't have her name anywhere on the Gym with Cole. Now that reason is close again and she has to leave to protect her friends. Fortunately for her they aren't having any of it and the Sinclair brothers including Ryder are ready to step in to stop her from running.Ryder immediately senses Felicity is in trouble and needs a way out of it. First she's going to have to trust him with the whole truth.I couldn't stop reading, with every page you learn something new and terrifying about Felicity's stalker and what he's put her through for years. Now he's close again, sending her things and putting things in her apartment. This book was scary on a number of levels but there was humor, love and damn does it get steamy. The close ties of the Sinclair family that expanded to include Ryder will bring a tear or two. As will that 'OMG No!' moment Susan is noted for.We meet the Mountain Mercenaries in this book, as they help unravel the mystery of just who this Joseph Waters is. I look forward to seeing how they find their HEAs.

My Favorite Couple and Story in This Series!
I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review.4.5 starsThis is the fourth book in the Ace Securities series and I am sad to see it end. But in the end, there is a new series coming that I can not wait to read.Felicity Jones is the strong BFF of Grace, she has been in Castle Rock for about five years. No one has questioned her about her past or her family. She seems to have her life in order until the day she wants the part of the money she gave Cole to help them start the gym. Why doesn't everyone start to question her why she wants to leave? She doesn't want to tell them secret, she just needs to run before "HE" gets to close to her.Ryder Sinclair comes to Castle Rock to get to know his 1/2 brothers. When he goes with his brothers to see what is going on with Felicity, he immediately knows she is running from someone. He wants to protect her or he will die trying. He wants her to tell him why she wants/needs to run but he will not rush her to tell him. Ryder is beginning to have feelings for her that he has never felt before. He knows that he has to tell her about his past and maybe she will tell him what is going on with her.Can Felicity trust Ryder to protect her and keep her friends safe? Will Ryder be able to keep her safe and let his brothers know he is there to help them keep everyone safe? In the end, will the Anderson triplets accept Ryder as their brother?I love this series and I think Felicity and Ryder might be my favorite. I think you could read these as standalone stories but I recommend reading them in order, that way you don't miss anything.**Wicked Reads Review Team**

Love Ryder and Felicity's Story
I have really loved the Ace Security series and am sad to see it ending but Ms. Stoker has introduced the men of her Mountain Mercenaries series and I can't wait. I really enjoyed reading/listening to this book. When Ryder comes to town to meet his brothers, the Anderson triplets who run Ace Security, he finds an unexpected turn in his life. Recognizing the signs of a woman on the run, Ryder becomes Felicity's protector. Drawn together by their attraction Ryder takes on the man who has been tormenting the woman he loves loves for a decade. Felicity has seen what havoc her past can cause to those she loves, and wants to flee but Ryder won't let her. Together they navigate their way to a satisfying HEA for the reader and the epilogue ties up the series nicely while leading into the Mountain Mercenaries series. I enjoy this author's books and have never been disappointed and this one is no exception.

Probably the most Alpha Anderson Brother yet....
Wow. What can you even say about this half brother. I wasn't sure what I was gonna expect from this character...But straight away you know he is intense, take no crap, strong and demanding alpha. He meets a distrusting felicity straight away and automatically he has claimed her 😂😂.It's madness....But that goes with his intense personality .We get into this group called the 'mercenarys' who help woman in need and kill people who need to be killed. They are a lot more hard-core then ace security and the whole vibe of that group and the secrets that they hold? Tease for the next book following their lives. This story was intense and very action packed. You really feel for felicity as a character and a woman....having to deal with this degrading and terrifying stuff from this psychopath. But it just goes to show like any book in this series. With the power of friends and family....as long as they are together . Anything is possible.Brilliant read.

Love Felicity and Ryder.
Felicity has been in hiding for years, she has settled in Castle Rock (as much as someone on the run can settle). but she is ready to run at a moments notice. Ryder discovers he has family in Castle Rock in the form of 3 half brothers. when they meet Ryder knows that Felicity is hiding a lot, he can almost see through all the walls and layers she has built up over the years and Felicity is desperate to trust someone and stop running but finds it hard to drop the barriers she has built up to protect herself. You get a feel for Felicity in the other books in the series, she is spiky, feisty and fierce but Ryder sees the real her underneath the spikiness. There is an element of inst-love, from Ryder's point of view anyway but I feel like it works in this instance.I really enjoyed this book, as I do with all of Susan's books and you also get to meet some mercenaries which leads in to a new series that Susan is working on.. I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys romance books with alpha men but equally strong and fierce women.

Wow another fantastic suspenseful read
Wow another fantastic suspenseful read, it is intense and full of worry and powerful emotions. It does contain some violence and the plot is about a stalker so could be upsetting for some. I love all these main characters and their support and love for each other, the new characters introduced by Ryder all sound equally great and I love that they will also get starring roles in their series soon. This series is refreshing and a bit different from the other books I've read by Susan Stoker, though it still has all the elements that have made her such a popular author. I have really enjoyed reading these, they are gripping and hold your interest throughout, the pace is steady and is a really well written story.

A suspense-filled finale
This fourth book in the Ace Security series introduces Ryder, half-brother to the Anderson triplets.Ryder is a dark figure, with a past more twisted and bloody than any of his siblings. A trained killer and mercenary, he arrives in Felicity’s life exactly when she needs him.The suspenseful plot shows Felicity facing the past she’s been running from, and, with Ryder’s help, reclaiming her life and living freely.Ryder is just about the most alpha male I’ve come across in Susan’s books. So sure of himself and determined, he takes one look at Felicity and decides that she’s it for him . No arguments. It’s just as well that Felicity feels the same way about him.A really enjoyable read, the epilogue tidied up some storylines and sets the way for new tales to follow. Brilliant.

'Felicity Jones was his. He didn't question it. It just was.'
Swoon, another gorgeous, growly alpha brother.....yeah he may be a 'Sinclair' rather than an 'Anderson' but half brother is still a brother and he is probably the hottest of the lot!He may have come to Castle Rock to learn more about his past but the second he sees Felicity he knows he has found his future - can he convince her of the same?He has exactly the skills needed to free Felicity from her past, but first he must convince her to trust....something she hasn't done for the decade she has been running. Trusting anyone puts them in danger too, can she risk Ryder and her heart and secure the future she desperately craves? Each new book in this series becomes my favourite, I am gutted that we are now out of brothers.....but hoping there may be more Ace Security books...could Cole be next in line? I also cannot wait to get to know the Mountain Mercenaries better too!I read this on Kindle Unlimited - a complete steal!
