Work great for my grandson.

These Fiskar scissors are perfect for lefty kids, probably 6 yrs old and older (pointy). Unlike many cheaper scissors Fiskar reversed the blades as well as the grip. Without this the hand tends to torque the blades very slightly apart and the paper is hard to cut.These scissors cut crisply and easily. High quality for reasonable cost. Bought for an 8 yr old grandson.

My kid hasn't determined if he's left handed or right handed. Half they time he cuts on way, the other half the other. These help with that as he'd just been swapping a standard one back and forth. we're hoping that with having both right/left that he'll be able to figure out which works better for him for cutting. Or he'll be ambidextrous and it'll be fine either way. but they work great for lefties.

I am a pediatric occupational therapist and often teach children how to cut. These are true left-handed scissors and are such an important tool for our left-handed kiddos! Many "left-handed" scissors just have an adjusted grip but the blades are still the same. The blades are switched on these to make it easier to cut with your left hand. Totally a life-saver for left-handed little ones who are frustrated with learning to cut.

For whatever reason, my left handed student was so used to using right handed scissors (with his right hand), he was uncomfortable trying to use left handed scissors with his left hand. ...He had already gone to the Dark Side.The scissors are indeed well made and great for a person learning to use scissors or already skilled.

I can’t believe it took me this long to buy left handed scissors for my grade schooler. He used to complain about cutting because he said he wasn’t good at it. I decided to try these out and he loves cutting anything and everything now! The price is awesome too so they are 100% worth it.

We loved them and this was our second pair.

My 4 year old granddaughter loves these! They are just the right size for her small hand.
