Still works
Before putting this on my phone, I did test the case out at home by submerging it underwater in my sink. I did place a folded paper towel inside to be sure. I had the case submerged for about 15 minutes and when I checked, no water got inside the case. Putting my phone inside was a bit of a challenge, as trying to open the case is fairly hard. Once my phone was inside, the fit snugly in. I went on a recent trip to the beach and tested it out since I knew I was going to go snorkeling with family. As you can see in the picture, my phone is submerged in the water and I was able to take a somewhat clear picture of it being in water. I did take it snorkeling and the pictures came out amazing. The best part, the case protected my phone from being damaged by the water. There is an opening that allows me to charge my phone but once you close it, nothing can get in. Great case and it's easy to clean. The case didn't effect me taking picture either. There was some residue from the saltwater but again, some soap and water cleaned it right off. Calls are clear and I'm able to still move around my apps and text.

GREAT CASE virtually “identical” to THE OTHER GUYS CASE.
I should first preface my review with the fact that I have owned 11 generations of IPhones. Many times, it was a “love/hate” relationship with Apple products. We are currently a “4 iPhone” family and have waterproof cases on all of them. Now, with respect to this case, IT IS TRULY HARD to distinguish this case from “the other H2O proof” brands case. The mechanics of the case are identical to “brand B’s” comparable case.... The IPhone 11 Pro case now has a small “wheel”, which engages the “ small lever at the top right that turns the sound off (BTW the other case utilizes the exact same design. The old thin rubber design (covering the “sound on/off” switch) was the weak link on WP cases fitting tenth gen phones and older. The rubber perforates and allows water in. IMO I think that the entire premise that Apple advertises its Phones to be H2O proof is a pitiful joke! The device is WP HOWEVER, Apple WILL not warranty a phone with water damage.... Hence, the reason we use WP cases. We spend a lot of time in the water and have always used our phones under water. The video is just phenomenal. At LITERALLY a fifth or sixth of the cost, this case is extremely nice, functional, and cost effective. I purchased 2. Last, the screen and back covers (the thin, clear, plastic covers) are NOT smudge proof. Meaning, I feel like they are constantly smudged just from normal handling. The front cover seems a little less “conforming” than I wanted. That being said, the screen with the cover is EXTREMELY sensitive. Truly like it isn’t there. It’s a GREAT case! Buy it.

Waterproof Case
NOTE: Follow-up from January. Today is June 28 - We're at the beach in Delaware. We were in the process of taking some family pictures at the edge of the shore break. I tucked my iPhone 11 Pro under my arm to let my daughter take the picture from her phone. I got distracted as I knelt down on one knee and bent my other for my wife to sit on. I reached my arm around her, forgetting that I had my phone under my arm. We took a couple of quick pics before the shore break washed up on us. As we all stood, I suddenly realized that my phone was not under my arm. Yikes! We frantically searched in the water as the waves were breaking. The water was so cloudy it was an impossible task. My daughter spoke to the lifeguard who said that the surf likely carried it up the beach (to the north). We walked and searched the water's edge. I prayed a silent prayer for God to do a miracle. No phone in sight. We gave up, with the consolation that I had Apple Care. We headed back, packed up, our umbrellas, chairs, and beach stuff to head to the pool. I said I was going to look one more time as they headed up to the pool. I was almost to the next lifeguard post, walking in the shore break, when three young people standing in the water spoke excitedly with one of them holding a black rectangular object in hand. I saw the strap dangling and knew they had found my phone. Surprisingly, they asked if it was mine, and I said yes! They handed me my phone, I thanked them profusely, and headed back to catch up and tell my family. I told the first lifeguard it was found - he looked surprised and hoped I had a waterproof case. I said I did, told him thanks for pointing us up the beach, and headed off to catch up to family with the good news. When I finally had the chance to open the case and check the phone (did not want to use the phone until I did), the inside of the case was bone dry, as was the phone. It had been tumbling around in the saltwater surf about 15-20 minutes. Amazing! Of course I thanked God for this little miracle, since a lot of my work is on my phone (backed up, of course). As a pastor, I now have another God-story to share... Most of my God-stories don't resolve so quickly; and some don't end the way I wanted (but ultimately as I needed); but this one did.

Great purchase
I love it so far. I used it in a 5k race that rained the whole time. It did great. I think it worked better than some of the bigger band new covers because I was able to use the phone while wet and dry and it was easy to use the screen no difficulties at all. We even took pictures after the race and the pictures were completely clear too.

Good but not great
It's good. Better than no protection. The bad part is that thecae cuts the outgoing sound by half and you can't touch the very corner of the screen with it.

Flimsy case
For the reviews that compare this to the “name brand” phone case with the words proof and life in them, its not even close. This case is much more flimsy, has a see through back and no rubber gasket ... to name 3 things right off the bat that are 180 degrees out from the name brand. I have both cases. The video speaker is muffled when this case is on the phone. Additionally, many of the 5 star reviews are not even for this product. How does this manufacturer get away with this and where is Amazon’s quality assurance??! Flimsy case.

Customer service help
Highly upset at the fact that the button on the side randomly came off while in literally sitting in a kiddy pool. My phone is damaged iPhone 11 Pro !!!! And now I have no water proof case, I trust this company. Truly sad that it didn’t work out I bought 2 for my wife and I that’s how much I had faith in it and it failed !
