These air filters have been a good value. They are constructed well and fit snug in the air returns for my HVAC.

Fits like a glove in my ceiling-mounted furnace filter holder. Maximizes the amount of space allocated for a filter, 2" is the max for me, and the carbon coating can hopefully assist with dinner smell abatement since our kitchen's vent hood only recirculates (boo!). I'll definitely order these again.

It's always somewhat surprising to pull out an old furnace filter and see how much dust it has collected over a few months. My particular system uses a 2" x 20" x 20" filter -- a size that is not readily available from the "big box" home centers. This proved to be a blessing in disguise, as it caused me to research what "MERV" meant -- and I discovered that the filters carried by local vendors were of rather low quality in the level of filtration. As an allergy sufferer, I was pleased to be able to purchase a higher level of filtration that should reduce the allergens moving though my home's air handling system. These filters appear to fulfill my needs very well and were quite reasonably priced.In my home, the furnace is in the attic, and the filter is positioned just behind a grill in the ceiling of a central hall. The measurements of filters tend to be slightly less than the nominal measurement, which made installation a 'three hand' situation. (Solved by turning on the system fan, allowing the air flow to hold the filter in place while closing the grill that holds the filter in place.) The filter does not firmly contact the sides of the filter box, but the duct behind the filter is slightly smaller, so that in operation, the air pressure holds the filter against the duct giving an adequate seal.The filter appears to be sturdy and should preform its task without structure failure.

I can't see any difference in the media in these and the 45% rated filters I buy at the local HVAC supply house for about $80 for a box of 12. You can hold them up to the light and there is no visible difference in the amount of light that comes through. In the same air handler the motor pulls the same amount of current with either one. (Both clean new filters)My meter to measure static pressure was on the fritz.You would think a filter with a MERV 12 rated filter which is supposed to be a 85% filter would definitely restrict the airflow more (pull more current too) than a generic run of the mill 45% filter. I can hear no change and see no change in current draw so makes me wonder. We will see in a month how much more dirt is filtered out vs the 45% filters. There should be a very noticeable difference. We will just have to wait and see. I will follow up. So 4 star over all for now

Furnace

Not sure what everyone was talking about when they couldn’t figure out what kind of filter they got. There is a sticker outside the box that specifically tells you what is inside. I enclosed a photo for all to see. I’ve been using these filters for a month now and they are working great. Would definitely order again. They do come unwrapped in a box but always trying to put for an effort to be more environmentally conscious, I’m ok with that. Less plastic waste we all have to deal with and the cardboard they come in can be recycled. They are clean and in pristine condition. I am relieved they are working out. You can’t go wrong with these, order with confidence.

I like the Nordic Pure filters because they for my system and come at a great price. These 20x20 filters are perfect for attaching to a box fan. I got them when the wildfire smoke was an issue this summer, and they help to clean up the air inside. Highly recommended!

I bought these filters to use on a 20 X 20 box fan. They fit well and I hold the filter in place with a bungee cord. The fan and filter combination is used to help clean some of the smoke out of the air that is present from the forest fires far to the west of us. They do a good job of removing the smoke odor and I feel they were worth the price.

this being f****ng allergy season i decided to try merv10 with carbon, cant say i noticed a reduction in odor from the carbon but that can just be because of habituation. My allergies tough omg i can breathe better. next year im getting merv 10 maybe even 13 lol
