Works Well
I'm writing this review on the phone that has this battery inside of it. Since I've purchased this product I've had no issues with the battery. I have noticed now after all this time it is finally starting to weaken though and not hold the charge as long however that's been well over a year which is to be expected so I feel this was a great purchase

Great replacement.
My V10 doesn't want to die, except for the batteries. This is my 5th battery for this phone because I didn't register the 18 month warranties I got on the last two 3000MAh batteries, and they started to lose charge. Packaging for this battery was one tiny battery-sized box loosely placed inside of a much bigger box, but thankfully was handled by the gentler Postal Service.Battery was the right size and had no charge upon arrival, but once I charged it, I haven't seen anything wrong with the battery. Weighing this battery showed that it is onlt 2 grams heavier than the 3000MAh battery (3000MAh 49.32g vs "4300MAh" 51.34g). I used CPU-Z to check the MAh on there and it said 3000, maybe cause the phone will only say that, but really makes me question what this really is. I do; however, notice that this seems to discharge a bit slower (even in the more intensive apps) compared to my previous batteries when they were new.I also noticed that this battery is Li-Po, but the last 4 were Li-ion. With that said, I just hope when summer comes around and my phone gets hot in my pocket, that the battery doesn't swell. Only time will tell. Will update in a few months if the phone chooses to live on.

Worse than original - dont buy!
I want to preface this by saying the install is just as easy or difficult as any other repair to this phone. I used high quality tools I previously bought. The tools that come with this product are cheap and simply not enough to do the repair. As for the battery, the one they sent me was dated 2019 (2 years old at the time of review) meaning the battery was already old and degrading. What's worse, is that the measured capacity using AccuBattery is actually WORSE than the original samsung battery I had in my phone! (See the screenshot attached) (the original battery had degraded to 2400mAh)Not only was this a waste of time and money, it also wasted a lot of expensive single-use adhesive which doesn't come with this product. The adhesive that does come with it is only for the battery itself and is significantly oversized making for a sloppy installation.

Works, still overheating though
Could be something else with my phone, but it is still overheating. This slightly increased battery life over the worn out OEM and properly fit though at a good price. Back was already shattered before installing so didn't have to be too careful about that as it was being replaced anyways.

Too early for a full review. Update coming soon
I ordered this battery due to the increased rating of 4500Mah. THIS IS A BLATANT LIE!!!! I know battery manufacturers often over rate their products. This is a HUGE overating. The battery is a standard 3000 Mah for the Galaxy S8. Just go into your phones settings, and you can pull up the info on it. I installed it about 90 minutes ago, and it is going thru its 1st charging cycle. I powered up the phone to check installation before putting the back panel on, just to make sure. It came with a 3% charge level, which was fine. I will fully cycle the battery 3 to 5 times in order to "condition" it. The tool kit that it came with is fine, but I happen to have better ones. I would suggest you buy the replacement glue gaskets, as the 2 strips that come with this kit are almost worthless. They are not meant to seal the perimeter edge of the phone. The proper seal will maintain water resistance. There are a couple of YouTube videos that you should watch, in order to get a feel for the S8's idiosyncrasies. There are also a couple that are a bit lacking, so be warned. I will update this review after I get a good feel of performance. Longevity ...well that will take longer. I got 3 1/2 years from the original battery. It performed well, but slowly puffed. I noticed the case starting to come apart, but the phone was still working fine. I'm very familiar with battery tech in my hobbies, and didn't want to risk a possible fire.I will update soon. I also wonder if the advertised 3 year warranty is another lie! This is an Amazon "Choice" product. We will see!

Easy to use.
I've never opened a phone case on purpose, but I have this old S10e that I use as an alarm clock and computer, even though I have moved on in phones. The battery swelled up and my options were $100 to have a local shop replace the battery, or $20 to do it myself. I took the chance and I'm glad I did. There are many videos online that will walk you through. I used a hair dryer to heat and soften the glue. The hardest part was not losing the tiny screws - all 10 of them. Plan ahead and work on a surface they can't roll off of. Took about 30 minutes to complete.

Easy to Do, Even For Someone Who Isn't Tech Savvy
After watching a few videos on youtube, I felt like I was ready to tackle changing out a phone battery on my own. Usually I wouldn't consider something like this, but with my family strapped for cash, we felt like this was our only option. My aunt's phone battery had suddenly stopped holding a charge and she needs her phone to be at peak performance for her job. This kit provided the tools and battery needed, and I had the new battery installed in a smidge under an hour. That's because I ran into issues with some really small screws and it was all operator error. Now that I know how to do this, I bet I could have it done in under thirty minutes next time. My aunt seems happy with her new battery and she hasn't had any issues since the battery was changed. I must say I'm rather proud of myself as I'm not really good with tech things. I didn't blow anything up, cause a fire, or get shocked. 10/10 I'll be ordering from this company again so I can replace my own phone's battery in the future.
