Great decorative dagger
I ordered two of these as props for a film, along with a ton of other weapons and armor items. This is one of the highest quality items I received, despite being one of the lowest priced. I was very surprised by the quality, to be honest. It's very refreshing. If one were so inclined, they could replace the plastic handle for a wooden one, sharpen the blade, and it would be a pretty good actual dagger.Definitely worth the price and more. Do not hesitate to buy this item.----------Update 9/1/17So when I wrote that review above, I had no actual intention of improving this dagger. But it's been a few years now, and I pulled this "prop" dagger out again and had the same thought. I could just replace the plastic handle with a wooden one and have a pretty nice little dagger. I proceeded to try to remove the handle, and let me tell you, they really built this thing strong! The pommel pulls off easily enough, but getting the handle out of the hilt is so much easier said than done. I put this thing through some serious stress trying to get the handle off, and the handle did not budge. Despite the fact that this is not a full tang blade, that thing was really solidly on there. That is some serious build quality!I finally had to heat the hilt up with a heat gun and literally melt the plastic to get the handle out . Once out, I could see the various pieces that make up this dagger. The blade tang extends just barely below the hilt, but fits very snugly into the plastic of the handle. The handle is hollow, but super thick, and the plastic is incredibly strong. While the blade is stainless steel, the hilt and pommel are made from some other type of chromed metal (a magnet will not stick to those pieces). So for $20, I have all the pieces I need to make a really great custom dagger. The sheath, though also plastic, fits very snugly and is very high quality. I plan to weld a full tang to the blade, and made a Kingwood handle for this dagger. The "damascus" texturing on the blade is a little cheesy, but oh well. I am still very impressed by the build quality of this dagger for such a low price.

Very nice, but with a few things worth noting...
This is a great piece of craftswo/manship. It's aesthetically pleasing, isn't too heavy and the black handle and double-edged nature made it the perfect Athame. I love the blade designs, too, although it should be noted that the color in the etchings is a very loose paint which rubs off fairly easy. This is not a problem for me and I may even just end up rubbing them off so I can get the real benefit of a shine to the blade. The thing that I didn't like about it is the plastic stone in the bottom of the handle. It feels and makes the item look more "cheap/novelty." I will probably replace it with some magickally relevant gemstone (maybe Lapis Lazuli or unprocessed Citrine) but this doesn't seem as though it should be too difficult. Other than this, I'm very pleased to have this item as a part of my temple. =)*Note - Someone said in another review that only the tip is sharpened. This is not the case. Both the edges of the blade are sharp enough to cut skin if you weren't careful with it, and the sharpness runs almost completely down to the handle. Of course anyone serious about collecting these sorts of things will be careful anyways, but it's worth a heads-up.

Great Looking Prop
While I do like this item, and it is better than what I had expected, you need to be aware that it is not a real knife. It is essentially a prop that I will use for my Halloween costume, and given its price, it is a very good value. It looks great from a short distance (except for the printed-on Damascus Steel marks, which won't fool anybody) and it works as well as I desire. The blade and handle are solid and it fits the sheath snugly with a satisfying friction increase just as you seat it. You won't need to worry about it rattling or falling out accidentally or even someone removing it without your permission. The only other thing to be aware of is that this is not a toy. The blade is mild steel and while not particularly sharp and won't ever hold much of an edge, it still could cause significant injury if used on a person. Do not give this to a child or young adult who won't treat it with respect.

Falls apart to easily, but still a good blade.
While the blade is nice and sharp, the scabbard's metal opening is poorly glued on as it came off after two weeks I purchased the product. Furthermore, the cute little white bead in the pommel of the blade and the rod holding the bead in place also popped out shortly after the issue with the scabbard occurred. I'm sure all are easy to mend, as I hot glued the metal opening piece of the scabbard back on quickly and it has stayed there ever since. However, this weapon is definitely not one for combat and is more for looks. I would like this product better and give it a higher rating if there was more time and effort put into making it.

WARNING
First of all, when i ordered the HK2515 Knights Dress Dagger it came broken right under the hilt where the steel starts, completely cracked... so right off the bat i can assure you that this piece is cheaply made. ALSO, the Dagger itself is NOT the one from the photo. It didnt have all of the engravings or the same handle which of course means that the sheath was different also. When i tried contacting the seller, they were extremely rude and said that i would have to send it back in the same packaging, which had already gotten thrown away.Trust me, if you are looking for a dagger, this is NOT the place to go. Rude service, not the photographed dagger and it may come broken and then you're out of your money.
