I've owned several of these, and have mostly been happy with them.The only problem I've had is that the elastic in back tends to get frayed and destroyed pretty quickly, which I assume is from butt-sliding on granite or from chimney climbing.A friend asked someone from Metolius about the purpose of the double belay loop, and they said it was for redundancy, so if one fails you still have one. This seems kind of goofy to me. Not a likely point of failure, and no need for redundancy.The gear loops tend to fray where they join the belt.
