Initially I thought $7 was an easy expense for a new book to share with my students. I’m approaching 18 x $7, but my students are diving into Reading like never before. They like the facts above the I Survived Series I purchased last year. I’m using these purchases as motivation for my struggling students, they get to pick the book and read it first if they stay on task and complete their assignments. I strongly recommend this series!

My kid asked me to buy this book and I decided to buy it used. The book looks like new! Great condition, worth buying it used. In terms of content, great book for first graders. My kid loves to read about real people that has done great things. Written with simple words.

I use this in class like all the Magic Tree books. Good balance of fiction and non fiction reading that the students love.

My first grader devours these books in a day but they're great educational reads. She loves history and finding out about the past and people who were notable. This series is fantastic and she will be reading so many more of these for pleasure.

This is an excellent series that combines fiction in one book and non-fiction background in another. The fiction gets readers involved and in a want-to-know more mood. Reading non-fiction is not the natural choice of most young readers so gently leading them to the genre is a great idea

These are simple, but they contain a fair amount of information. Interesting for kids. I'm not as crazy about the Magic Treehouse stories, but I really like the research guides.

Really a bagful of information. Lots of lesser know facts about the real heroes across the globe. Easy words so kids can extract facts and enjoy.
