Would I get it again or recommend it: Maybe, it's wonderful but it is expensive. It's a lovely, high quality, soft natural goat hair and synthetic nylon combo brush. It does a beautiful job for facial makeup contour, but it is expensive. But it’s a great brush that does a really good job in application. Brush: Trish McEvoy Brush 65 Angled Contour Bristles: 90% goat hair, 10% nylon (from the Trish McEvoy website) Pros: -Very well made and high quality. It's a heavier brush with the clear lucite style handle. -The bristles are cruelty free 90% natural goat hair and 10% synthetic nylon mixed. -There is no odor from the natural bristles as some brushes with natural bristles tend to have, but this does not. -It's very soft compared to many other cheaper or lower quality natural bristle brushes. It's not scratchy or rough at all. -It washes very well when carefully washed. I use a gentle face wash, and I always am careful to keep water from running up into the bristles by pointing the bristles downward during washing and rinsing. It dries in shape properly without a brush-guard or reshaping when allowed to air dry. -Good for application as designed of contour. The size, shape and brush density are good for a natural looking application of contour powders. It doesn't over-apply but blends out the powder contour very well. It makes some more difficult to apply contours (too densely pigmented) apply more easily. -It also works well for bronzer, blush or highlighter powder and gives a soft diffused, natural application that is really lovely. -No bristle shedding (a little can be normal at first). -The clear lucite handle is well balanced (a bit on the heavier side) and has the brush number and use (contour) printed on it. Cons: -It is fairly expensive for a single brush, but it is an outstanding brush that's great quality and works very well. Thoughts: -I usually use a Real Techniques synthetic bristle contour brush (the red handled Rebel Edge semi-fan brush, it's an odd brush to describe if you've not seen it). It's so far before this one my favorite natural or synthetic contour brush. -I do love this brush even though it's expensive, but think that the price puts it a bit on the expensive side. It performs well compared to my favorite (and far cheaper) brush, but I'm not sure the price is worth paying so much more for similar performance. This brush is better than my favorite cheaper brush, but I'm not sure it's so much better that I'd want to spend this much on it. But it is a wonderful brush. -If you love natural bristles and are looking for a very good, high quality one with no odor, no shedding, cruelty free and well designed for contour-this is a great choice and you'll love it. It makes contour, blush, bronzer and highlight powder apply very well and look natural on the skin.

This is a really beautiful brush. The clear handle is awesome and I actually like the short length. This is a goat hair brush and you need to wash it when you receive it because it will bloom and be so much better. I know it seems like a pain but it is always worth it especially with natural hair brushes. Also it is normal to have a bit of loose hairs with natural bristles. I really love angled face brushes I have several different ones but this one is different. It is on the small side and it is not very dense. The fact that it's so fluffy makes it a fantastic brush for bronzer. You can get a really light wash of color and blend it easily. I know these are expensive brushes but they are worth it. Natural hair brushes are better. They just are.

The brush is small!! I expected a normal size makeup brush for $50.00. Sent it back and ordered a Laura Mercier brush - very happy.
