Don’t buy it. It is only a battery powered dog whistle and my dogs ignored it completely. I have passed it to a charity

I have two dogs, both Terriers and with Terrier traits, i.e., if you can, bark at it. The only thing I can see this doing is lighting up for ten seconds, the dogs both completely ignore it. As I do not have the range of hearing of my dogs, I can't confirm whether it is actually producing a sound at all, if it is, it doesn't stop them barking for one moment. I feel I have wasted my money.

This actually seems to be working. We have a greyhound which since it has came into season has had a personality transplant and has went from being really quiet to continually barking, whether it has been walked, fed, brushed. It just wants to bark. Opening the window in our bedroom when it barks and zapping has definitely quietened it a lot. Not exactly stopped it but it has Made a difference.

I bought this product to stop my cockerpoo pup constantly barking every time somebody walked past the window or he heard a strange noise.The first time I tried it he was doing his usual, stood up at the window barking at nothing . I said stop barking .No response.i said quiet.No response. I pressed the button and he instantly stopped barking and looked at me confused. I said quiet again and that was it. His barking has now decrease by 50% . When he does bark at someone walking by I just say Milo quiet and he shuts up .i haven’t needed to press the button.I have now started taking it out on our walks as he tends to try and eat everything from discarded tissues/wipes crisp packets etc.etc..Again I say leave he ignores me . I say drop it he chews faster. I try to take it off him and he runs around with it in his mouth with a proud look on his face because I can’t catch him.I tried pressed the button when he wouldn’t drop a plastic bottle and he instantly dropped it . Going for a walk now is so less stressful I don’t have to use the device anymore .just show let Milo know that I have it when out on walks and 9 times out of 10 he doesn’t pick random items up , just glances at them and carries on.If I do have to say leave or drop it he leaves or drops.Unfortunately it doesn’t work with water though. If he sees a pond ,brook,puddle or lake there is no stopping him and he comes back soaked.Update3 years later .I haven’t used this for over a year as he is now a chilled out perfect pouch.The only problem is he is terrified of anything that beeps .In the kitchen he hates the microwave. Induction hob and anything else that beeps he cowers away to his bed . Even delivery trucks reversing scare him . I am now trying to reverse this by treating him every time he hears a beep. 🙄

It’s good kind of works for my dog just have to be patient the only down side is my cat really doesn’t like the noise so just be careful of other pets

Sadly this device had absolutely no effect on any of our 3 dogs. Have returned for a refund.

This is brilliant for for keeping our dog from jumping up when visitors arrive she’s a large dog and was getting over excited when people come in the house one push of this alarm and she’s calm and just sits

It can't be used on a dog under 6 months old. I have a 4 months old puppy, plus 2 other dogs. I can't use it on my adult dog for another 2 months. I didn't see any info about this on the sale page. It is in the written instructions. So this device is basically useless for anther 2 months!
