After staring longingly at many a gargantuan mini, I was overjoyed to find one at this price point with such detail. After some personal convincing that it was worth it, I made my purchase. When it arrived and I opened the box, I began laughing maniacally in a way only dungeon masters will understand. With all my willpower, I kept the dragon hidden from my players until the last battle; it made the fight both awesome and hilarious, as one of my PCs decided to jump on the dragon's back!PROS:-Price for size is excellent!-Detail of molding is phenomenal-Love the clear elevation post, really added a sense of scale and height to an otherwise flat gaming table-Its a dragon, guys!CONS:-paint is entirely silver, with minor detailing on mouth and eyes. But easily fixed with a quick ink wash to hit all those epic details!THE VERDICT:10/10 critical hit

This dragon model is AMAZING. Firstly, Silvers are my favorite of the metallic dragons in the DnD universe, and I thought "Awesome. A solid model to use for a Silver NPC." Ohhhh hohoho. I expected a big model, but this thing is BIG. I mean, sure you'll find larger if you pay for the ones that are massive, but for the price, this thing is a towering and looming gargantuan of beautiful sculpting. I took it upon myself to add a few things, like using my citadel paints to add black claws, spines, horns, etc... But that was only for personality and a little bit of extra custom touches to flush it out a bit more. The paint it came with is already really nice compared to any other pre-painted ones that come in packages. So... yes. I LOVE this model.

I was worried when I saw previous reviews stating it was not an actual brick, but I did receive a sealed brick and am happy with the figures!

Amazon has fixed the box/brick mix up from previous reviews, this gets you 8 boxes as you'd expect. Nothing was broken or missing, it's exactly what you'd expect to get from a booster brick of dungeons and dragons miniatures. There is a nice variety of the minis from the set, I only got two duplicates of the medium/small minis for the whole brick, and no large duplicates thankfully. Also included a few of the "very rare" rarity minis from the set, which is always nice. Some people don't like the booster pack style of collecting miniatures, but that shouldn't affect star rating since it's what you order!

The figures are pretty good quality and highly recommended for anyone wanting to fuel this addicting hobby. These figures are perfect for running the PotA modular.My only issue is that there appears to be slight occurrence with some mis-packaging of each pack. I got a miniature for a Solar Angel, but the base in the same pack was for a hieracosphinx, leaving me with a somewhat unusable mini without the use of glue or clever positioning.

As a Forgotten Realms Junkie, these minis fit wonderfully into my campaign. As a DM running my group through the PotA campaign, these are an AWESOME packing option. You get several mini's in each box, most are usable in many FR campaign. The campaign specific mini's are very helpful as I did not have them in the rest of my mini collection, which is acceptable for one of my age.
