I had trouble setting the hook with another single-hook spinner and this worked great. First 2 casts literally caught 2 small brown trout.

A great Mepps Lure
I took this lure river fishing in Michigan. I caught many rainbow trout on this lure. I like the single hook, which I filed the barb off before fishing. Definitely worked for me.
