Very small. Way to small to use as a camping hammock.
First, to be clear, this standard single-size Hummingbird Hammock is NOT a camping hammock. It's really not clear from the item description or even their website just how tiny this hammock is. I'm 5'3" and 105 pounds, and I would definitely not be comfortable sleeping in this hammock. It's just way to short and narrow to get a flat-ish lay in. It's too narrow to get diagonal in. If you're looking for a hammock to sleep in, definitely opt for the Single+ hummingbird (or another brand of camping hammock.) The Single+ (which I've also tried) is also a small hammock, but it's closer to the size of most lightweight camping hammocks. I own three different camping hammocks for backpacking (a Hennessy Hyperlite, a Warbonnet Blackbird, and a Kammok Roo) and spend quite a lot of nights in them, so this opinion comes from experience. The larger Hummingbird Single+ (which is a few ounces heavier than the regular Single) is comparable in length/width to the Hennessy and the Blackbird, and much smaller than the Kammok. This hammock, though, the Single (NOT-plus) is way smaller than all of those. It's itty-bitty in comparison. So if you're looking for a hammock to sleep in, move on over to the Hummingbird Single+ page, or consider other brands. If you're looking for a small travel hammock, one that can easily fit in a backpack and go anywhere, for chilling out with a book or maybe short naps, that's where the Hummingbird Single fits in. Though honestly, if you're a big person at all, I'd still opt for a larger hammock (the Single+ is still really packable.)What I like about this Hummingbird single:~It truly is super lightweight and small. It compacts to itty-bitty.~And because it doesn't have a lot of extra fabric, it's easy to see out of it when laying in it.~ It seems to be well-mad.What I don't like:~It's too small to sleep in, and too small for anyone who isn't pretty small even for just lounging.~It's frankly way overpriced for what it is. There are similar hammocks on the market for half to 1/3 this price. This may have a better build quality, but it's limited versatility doesn't really justify the expense.~It doesn't come with tree straps, so you still have to assemble and cary a rigging system (which you can buy separately from Hummingbird.)I ultimately decided to keep the Hummingbird Single (this one, the smaller one) for travel and day hikes, as it fits that niche nicely and is different from my other hammocks. I've taken it traveling and appreciated having a hammock without having a lot of extra weight and gear. I don't hate it, but I don't love it. It fills a niche, but the price-point is appropriate for a much larger/more versatile hammock.

If you are over 6ft get the longer style of this hammock.
This is a hammock is for a very specific person. If you want a hammock to chill in this is not for you. It's for people who value functionality over looks. This is a true backpacking hammock, but it is very very thin. So if you want one, make sure you are someone who takes care of your things heavy or you WILL rip this hammock. It does not come with straps you you will need to provide your own. No metal clamps weight either (it has a button system). All in all a great hammock for that person looking for it.

It reaslly is what they claim!
I didn't believe it could be true.It really is that small and lightweight. Best money I've spent in 5 years. Plus if you have an issue, they are on top of it.

Tore in half
The hammock tore in half after 5 minutes of use. I’m only 120 lbs, and I didn’t have anything sharp in my pocket.

You get what you pay for. Or At least I wished. Hammock tore and became unusable after my first use. I am 165lb and had nothing sharp in my pockets. Obviously this wouldn't be covered under warranty so just keep in mind that because this is expensive, it certainly is not any more durable than a cheap hammock you can find on aliexpress. i gutted the suspension system to re-purpose because that works well.
