This mower is a go getter! We have uneven meadow with soft pockets of dirt from voles and this is no problem for the Sarlo. By the time we received it the grass was 4 feet tall and even though we mowed a swath half the width of the mower due to grass height it did not stall, clog or choke! Subsequent mowings were a breeze. The 10 HP is powerful. As a woman it took some getting used to the speed, weight and power. My husband does the mowing now and happy to have such a high performing machine! Too heavy for steep slopes as it 's weight made it want to slide down. Buyer beware: When placing the order it said ships in 3-5 days. It took a full month before we got it. Maybe because we ordered in late June made it slower. Northern Tool was the "middle man" for the manufacturer in Florida and it wasn't made until we ordered it. We did get a refund on shipping because I was adamant about the misleading shipping time.

I have had one of these since i was a kid back in the 50s,I still have both.They are still in good cond.Im in the process of restoring one,but need a manual or parts diagram.You cant kill these things.and they cut great.
