Great for orthopedic footage. Comfy and casual. If you have higher arches it supports very well.

These quality flip flops have 'saved' me. I didn't know what I was going to wear for boating and over-all casual needs for the warm months as the typical flip flops were killing my feet (literal pain). I wear an 8 - 81/2 and ordered a 9, and am very pleased with the fit. These take a bit to get used to the feel as the arch support is so high it almost feels initially like there is a golf ball under your arch. That, however, is the key to why I can wear these for hours upon hours and walk and walk and not have pain! I was concerned because I had not worn 'between the toe' style flip flops for MANY years...and it was not a problem at all to get used to! The part that goes between the toes is a soft material and very comfortable. I recommended these to several people now that I've had such a great experience with them, and have some happy friends as well! Based upon my experience, I HIGHLY recommend these! Oh, the issues I have are Morton's Neuroma and a Fibroma on one foot. Two of my friends who are pleased with this product have Plantar Fascitis. (I bought these about 9 months ago and wore them daily in the warm months - didn't want to give a review until enough time had gone by so my testimony would pass the 'test of time.' )

Vionic never disappoint!

Shoe recommended by podiatrist d/t pronation & heel pain. Shoe has great arch support & is made well. Had to buy one size smaller than I normally wear though, runs big in size.

The shoe has on the label mens or women but it is not made for women. The straps are too long and it makes the flip flop loose and uncomfortable. This is not like the previous pairs that I bought last summer. I will be looking for another arch supporting flip flop.

I have worn Vionic shoes for many years and always love their flip flops, BUT the Wave44 is a unisex shoe and is much wider and boxier than a womens Vionic flip flop. Definitely more of a mens style, or a woman with a wide foot.

I bought this sandal as I have been recently been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and it has become very painful to walk. These are made just for that malady and work very well. It takes a little while to adjust to the high, firm arch, but after walking around in them my foot has had less shooting pains and aches. They said for women who are between sizes to go down to the closest size (I wear a size 8-1/2 to 9 shoe depending on the width--I have fairly wide feet--so bought the size 8). It fits just perfectly; no extra sandal behind my heel and no heel hanging over the back. They are also very stylish and solidly built. For what they have done for me, I highly recommend them.

I have been buying and wearing this sandal for years and wearing them almost exclusively, but have been plagued by extremely itchy and scaly feet, so bad that it sometimes wakes me up at night. I've tried lots of home remedies but nothing makes it go away for more than a night. Well come to find out, Vionic Wave, Ryder and Tide sandals are all made with synthetic latex, to which I am allergic/sensitive. (A latex bandaid will cause me to welt up in blisters that are worse than the injury I'm using it for.) I love these and the arch support is divine for my plantars fasciitis, and I highly recommend them UNLESS like me you have a latex allergy/sensitivity.

The Orthaheel flip flops are my 'go to' footwear for around the house in the winter and everywhere I go in every other season. I used to have significant problems with plantar fasciitis - lots of pain, especially in the morning. Since starting to use Orthaheel footwear, there is rarely a day that my feet give me a problem, and the few that I do have are usually when I've had to wear non-support shoes for an extended period. I do find, however, that the men's and the unisex products last significantly better than the prettier and more expensive women's products.

Pedí 1/2 talla más pequeña de lo normal porque en sandalias eso suele ser lo mejor, pero aún así eran enormes y estaban hechas para un pie de hombre, no de mujer. ¡Esto pone el excelente soporte del arco casi debajo del talón! Además, la puntera es muy rugosa para este tipo de sandalia. Están siendo devueltos hoy.
