•••••••• NOTE: For anyone who couldn’t figure it out, these are soft graphite, not hard •••••••••Nice black thick lines to thin lines, shaving sprinkles into water was so fun. Going to practice value studies with this

Exactly what I needed
I use these to create transfer paper on the back of printed copies of my digital drawings so I can trace them on water color paper. Works great!

perfect for my purposes...transferring drawings
I use graphite sticks to coat the back of drawings I make, usually my originals, but lately computer copieS of my drawings. In the photo you can see both the transferred drawing and the back of a copy that I covered with these graphite sticks. They're fairly soft and coat the back well. The transfer, the positive in the photo, is the result of tracing my drawing with a stylus to transfer the drawing for painting. just like making my own carbon paper. I have used the General brand. They work, but I think these are better. Maybe it's just me. I plan to order some of the drawing size...smaller. These would work but I prefer drawing with the 1/4" sticks.

Love these little bars of water soluble graphite!Sketching is fun,two ways dry and wet.Great to just sketch in your painting thenAdd water and vavoom!!! Nice!

Bold graphite sticks.
I enjoyed the thick laydown of graphite. However, I wish they expressed the rating on soft or hard etc.

Great to use..
Easy to use, and the results are terrific. Never tried water soluble graphite before, would recommend these sticks.
