Excellent quality knife, well balanced, super sharp and well made, exactly as described.This after the first knife arrived with a warp. Contacted Amazon who really could not have been less helpful. Their response was very poor, not Customer service at all.Anvil and Hammer, in contrast, could not have been more helpful. They immediately sorted my issue and resolved the query with nothing but highly professional and excellent customer service. Very satisfied with Anvil and Hammer who deserve a shout out for their customer service.

This is a well weighted and balanced knife made from top quality materials. It is comfortable in the hand, and the blade has a good edge on it straight out the box. The plastic sheath that comes with it helps to protect that edge if you store the knife in a drawer. It also has a bit more style and appeal than your average kitchen knife.

Really great knife and well balanced, bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband and it's perfect!

The blade is very sharp however best to put your own edge onto it, it’s a stunning blade and very well valences, however handle can be iffy depending on your grip

The craftsmanship on this knife is flawless and I love the patterns on the Damascus steel. Makes a great gift as is very well presented. Balance is great and cuts and chops up food with ease. Overall I got a great buy oh and it also comes with a very neat wooden sheath. Highly recommended!

I saw this knife advertised on Instagram and decided to check it out since it is only being offered on Amazon at the moment. I ordered one and received over the weekend.I enjoy cooking and you can’t beat this knife on its price point. The majority of my other knifes also do not have a heel, so I am familar with the grip for this style of knife. It’s very light, comfortable, beautiful, well made and very sharp.Right out of the box I was able to cut a radish paper thin. You can see the anvil logo through the radish slice. I also sliced a few more radish pieces very finely.The knife felt very comfortable in my hand and felt/handled similar to my Shun Classic Knifes. I look forward to using this knife quite often.As with my other knifes, I will hand wash/dry, use butcher block oil on the handle in addition to using a honing steel before each use to maintain the sharpness.Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase.Keep in mind this style of knife is not meant to “hack” through large bones. If you are looking to use it for that, pick up a meat cleaver for that task.
