Snow White

Of course, I have read Snow White by The Brothers Grimm but I had to pick up this version Illustrated by Camille Rose Garcia. It is beautiful! I love the artistry and it matches perfectly along with the story. Definitely a master of art and word. I would recommend this book to everyone.

I just received my copy and I was blown away by the beautiful paintings. I am a long time admirer of both old fairy tales and the artwork of Camille Rose Garcia. Her version of Alice in Wonderland was such a treat and now this edition of Snow White is just breathtaking. Her paintings had me grinning from ear to ear as I re-read this classic story. The colors are vibrant and whimsical. The layout is just gorgeous. I am so pleased with this book!

The art work is gorgeous, the story is the same as always...wonderful. This is the perfect coffee table book for anybody of any age. I love art and fairy tales. It's a quick read so I have time to admire the illustrations. They are beautiful.

Great book. Bought for my teenage daughter and she loved it. I can definitely appreciate all the artwork as well. If you are expecting a Disney-esk version of the story... This is not for you... A little darker as most fairy tales are until they are sweetened for the masses.

This book is filled with illustrations and paintings by Camille Rose Garcia. I was afraid the book wasn't going to have as many images as I wanted it to, but luckily I was wrong! The artwork is amazing and goes really well with the story. Highly recommended for fairy tale and art fans alike.

Wonderfully illustrated classic. Camille Rose Garcia's art work is amazing and lends itself to the story so well. Kudos to Harper Collins for using such stylistic illustration for this children's book.

Great graphics

The book's illustrations are absolutely stunning. Classic fairy tales with a dark twist to them. Wish I had her whole collection of books.

I saw this book and have heard about how great Garcia's art work is supposed to be so I indulged and bought this for myself and I think it is now the nicest book I own! I absolutely just fell in love with it - the whole book including front cover and behind the sleeve is just gorgeous and I would recommend this book to anyone who likes great books - not even necessarily fairy tales but maybe even book collectors. The art is fantastic, with a sort of gothic theme to it, perfect for Snow White really, and the formatting of the book - some words are massive and the paragraphs will be set out differently etc all adds to the effect. I loved it so much I bought her version of Alice and Wonderland the day it arrived and that one is great too! I will be looking out for any more of these - I really hope she'll do more!!

Pretty, my favorite artist since I was at school!

A brilliant new book by one of the most talented sureal artists today:) Garcia's art is more than pretty pictures, she really makes a serious commentary on 20th century life through her art and this book is a testament to her talent and intellect. Thank you Amazon!
