Was surprised how well it fit with the smallest twist-on base.Did have to hammer it down until it was at the right level.Grip and feel of it is great!

This extension to your current stick shift is a bit flimsy by my assessment. The three adapters have threads on the outside diameter but not on the inside diameter so the tee handle never gets tight. The adapter relies on the stick shift shaft to cut the threads into the adapter since it is hard plastic. The Tee Handle adds a few inches to your stick shift though which for the price is a nice addition and with the tee grip design is pretty comfortable. However, the off-set design on the handle leaves you trying to guess which side to put the longer end passenger or driver side depending on your hand size and feel. For me either side doesn't quite feel right but the extra height was worth the discomfort. Its a reasonable stop gap for me before I spend $500 on a new Hurst competition shifter and longer shift arm. If you are a hard shifter you may want to consider other options. This isn't very strong with the hard plastic adapter holding the installed tee shifter in place. I would hate to see it come apart mid shift unless of course the instability you feel when shifting is part of the design. It just made me feel uncomfortable about the stableness of the whole assembly during use. Still, it doesn't look too bad in all black.

The quality is fine & appearance would be good other than the fact that if you have an automatic like mine, w/no bag, it looks silly. The bottom part of the black stem is too bulky for that look. I figured I’d see how it sits w/me for a day but already decided I’m going to take it off & get a style that tapers @ the bottom.

I bought this for my 2007 Miata NC, which was an automatic. The shift knob that came with the car was the same size (about 4 inches tall) but it drops down two inches onto the gear shaft before it spins on tight. This shift handle went down only 3/4 of an inch down before it was spun down tight...this made it stand 2 1/2 inches higher than the factory shift knob (totally blocking the air-con knobs). The seller was great and fast, packaging the handle well. The handle seems made of quality materials and was very attractive and I wish it had worked out better and fit properly.

I ordered this for my son and he really loves it.

I was excited to get this and try it out. I don’t really care if it’s not the most sturdy shifter knob I can get. I just like the blue. However, it would be nice if it came with ALL THE PARTS!Can’t install it. Gotta return it. And it’s a hassle that I shouldn’t have. Won’t be getting another one.
