Bailey of Hollywood Men's Fedora

This is a nicer hat than I expected. I wanted a hat that I can wear everyday, and I wanted a basic, "typical " fedora. (My bowler is more formal, of course for more formal occasions.) I had an inexpensive (sort-of) fedora that eventually fell apart, maybe from almost continual use, and I wanted an adequate replacement. I am almost afraid to wear this hat daily since it is better quality than my last hat. Nevertheless, I have begun wearing it all the time, so I'll see how it holds up through much wear and weather.When it arrived, the brim was curled up all the way around. I didn't realize that this would be the case. I had to flip the front edge down. This warps the hat very slightly, making it slightly longer than before because of the stiffness of the material. I wonder if as time goes on, the structure might relax, and look and feel more "standard."In any event, I also would like to know what I might do to preserve the hat against rain and sweat. I heard once that one can use scotchgard to protect the material; but when I tried it, it ruined a hat (that I had from a few years ago). Without some kind of protection, I wonder how long this hat will last. If it can hold up for at least two years, I will be satisfied. But if I could keep this hat for much longer, I would be happier.

Nice fedora, pretty good quality and happy to find it in XX large. Arrived in a fair amount of time, decent price.

came all bent out of shape. The whole brim was bumpy and crooked. This was probably because it was not packed well and the box was too small. Whatever the reason it did not straiten out when taken out of box and left on a flat surface. It is unwearable and we sent it back.

Just a little bit bigger than expected but another bisque at the dinner table will take care of that

I ordered this for my husband who has been looking everywhere for a black fedora. He loves this hat and wears it everywhere all the time. He says he's never had a hat that fit his head so perfectly. The hat is well constructed and should last a long time.

Very cool gangster hat. Excellent quality. I got many likes. My only gripe was the final price 180.00 with another $30.00 duty that I wasn't expecting. And it was just about 1/8 inch on large size so I to adjust it. For the price I expected foam strips for adjusting hat if too large. So my advice is if you buy it ask for foam adjusting strips to buy inside hat liner.
