It is like 200+1 exercised to work on any area that yo and horse are working on.
It is simply written, has excellent drawings, and space to make notes. If it had drawings in note card to atke to the barn - it would be perfect. Unfortunately I have to copy and print a downsized version.

Book is too big/thick to be useful - Would be 5 star + if spiral bound.
The book is 1 1/2 inches thick and does include a TON of great exercises, places to make notes and even your own patterns BUT... there's no way use it in a barn unless you ripped out the pages so you could post them on the wall to review while actually riding. This would be a 5 star item if it were in a spiral bound binding instead. Instead it has sat on my coffee table un-used for 2 years...

Easy to read, use and personalize.
I knew this book would be huge, but its HUGE!! The thought and planning that went into this book was amazing. The book is broke into sections as training should be allowing you to attempt, adjust and accomplish at your own pace. They have laid the groundwork leaving a lot of room for personalization to each horse and rider combination. This book is meant to go to the training barn and be used. Its a journal and training guideline in one. Strongly recommend.

Brilliant floor plans
A fantastic set of floor plans which can be used at all levels. It is a workbook and has plenty of room for notes. It has enabled me to continue my horse's education during the lockdown when lessons are not possible. However it is very BIG and heavy and so I have actually cut out all the pages to put into a ring binder so that just the floor plan which I'm working on can be taken into the arena.

The big book of dressage exercises
This book is simply amazing! I’ve now got loads of ideas to incorporate into our sessions. Recently, I’ve got a bit stuck in a rut with riding, doing the same thing each time, but this book has really helped me with finding new things to do when I ride. A fabulous thing is that there are different levels to each exercise, to work up to and in order to suit the ability that you are riding at, which is really helpful in progressing through movements. There’s plenty of space to create your own exercises as well, and the diagrams are very clear to make riding the exercises easy. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to improve their riding and find different things to incorporate into their sessions!

It's definitely BIG!
This has to be the biggest book I've ever (and probably ever will) owned. Exercises for lots of levels with space to make your own. The tips/directives column is very helpful so you know what you are aiming for in each movement.

A guide not an instruction manual
Definitely a BIG book! Full of useful exercises and floor plans. Space to make notes about how you've found them and to modify if required. Encourages the rider to have a training goal in mind and focus on an exercise which will develop the horse's ability to achieve it. Recommend.

A must have for dressage riders and anyone that does flatwork
Fabulous book with clear instructions and exercises for all levels. Would benefit non dressage riders too for riders wanting to get more focus for flatwork sessions. We have Book one “how to dressage” too which is a perfect accompaniment to this.
