Don't expect traditional single coil tone, you won't get it.
If you're buying this setup to get proper single coil tones out of your strat, look elsewhere. That's not to say this product is not excellent, because it is. It's just not your traditional stratty sound. The pickguard drops in with no issues whatsoever (it didn't come with instructions but in this day and age, you can find them anywhere), fit and finish were flawless, and the appearance is definitely unique. As far as tone goes, it's definitely warmer than your typical single coil, but Lace pickups have a voice all their own anyway. No icepicks from the bridge, just clean, bright tones. Bridge/middle is quacky and spanky as you would expect, but somehow easily listenable as well. Middle is warm and humbucker-like. Middle/neck is slightly quacky but imminently sonic, and the neck is just waiting for a blistering riff. You may notice that I didn't mention hum, that's because there isn't any. Even with the gainiest pedal on my board, and the amp set to stun, there is almost no noticeable sound unless I make some. Setup is different from standard single coils, and I think this may be where some of the bad reviews about Lace pickups comes from. These must be set higher than standard single coils, much higher. Start out at 5mm from pickguard to top of the pickup, and work to taste. No wolftones will appear, as the magnets aren't nearly as strong as AlNiCo 5's for example, and sustain is drastically improved as a result. As far as customer service is concerned, I cannot speak because I have had no need. If the future requires an update here, I will. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this loaded pickguard; high quality, great tone, and easy install. Hell, if these pickups are good enough for Eric Clapton, Eric Johnson, and Pete Townsend, who am I to argue?

I was so excited about this item until I recivied it.
I'm rebuilding an old Strat. Maybe I'm just ignorant about how loaded pickguards work. The guard was absolutely beautiful, but It didn't have any kind of jack input to make it actually work. No instructions. Nothing. No 1/4" jack to make it actually plug into an amp. Deceiving advertising. It was just a pickguard in a box. I returned it.

Good product, cheaper elsewhere
This is a really nice pre-wired pick guard that sounds a lot better on a guitar then stock options do, however, it is sold by Guitar Center for $100 less than here.

Killer tone no hum
I have a squire vintage strat. Plays great, nice and light. Always sounded ok. I saw this pre wired pick guard and figured why not? Worth every penny. Very quiet. Even in bars with crappy electricity. Does it sound exactly like a strat? No. The treble pick up is almost p90 ish. Which is awesome for me. The 2 and for position sound great. Classic strat. Middle pickup is exactly as advertised. So is the bass pickup. I have zero complaints.

I’m really happy with this set
I’m really happy with this set. They are very quiet in positions 1-3-5 and 2-4 are hum cancelling anyway.they have a lot of clarity and can also really push the amp; they are very versatile and aesthetically they are very pleasing. really brought my guitar alive and I’m really happy with them like I said they are quiet in all positions they work wonderfully for clean tones and can really drive the amp all while being extremely quiet compared to standard single coil pickups, while maintaining single coil characteristics. For me it’s the best of both worlds single coil sounds hum cancelling benefits but with the distinct tone that lace is known for. Don’t take yourself too seriously.

Wow!
I always wanted the Lace Sensor pickups that were in the Eric Clapton signature model, but so happy I chose these instead. The variation in sounds between each pickup lends to more creativity. I can go from Jazz to Metalcore with the flick of a switch and the stomp of a pedal. Amazing tones. Very satisfied customer here.

I'm adding a star!
IMHO these are the absolute best pickups for a Strat. Quiet even with high levels distortion. What I really like is the significant change in sound that each of these brings either by itself or in combination.I threw these in a used 2007 Squire I picked up for $120 and never want to play another guitar.3/09/2024 6 years later. Just cleaned her up and changed the strings and I am still loving these.

Quality components!
I was going to purchase a Fender pickguard until I decided on Lace, WOW!, after playing Strats for many years, shame on Fender for using cheap components to make more profit. The Lace pots and pickup selector feel amazing, the wires (are fabric-insulated) the guard itself feels thicker, and it doesn't look like Fender spaghetti, anyone who has ever removed a Fender pickguard knows what I mean...Thank you Lace!
