AutoCAD Civil 3D 2015 Essentials: Autodesk Official Press

Excellent overview of C3D and a good desk reference. This helped me prep for the Professional Exam without needing to read the big book for C3D. It covers all the essentials and has some exercises to work through.

Very well nice book. Thought out and detailed to be easy to follow. Went through it rather quickly or quicker than I thought I would. Much better to use a tool like this rather than jumping to training videos. Videos tend to go too fast and you become lost very quickly. Still a lot to learn but at least with the help of this book, I've got my feet wet.

It's a great book but the quality is downright awful. I had the book for a week and the pages started falling out

This is a very good text for self teaching Civil 3d. BUT, it needs to be spiral bound so it lies flat while working the problems out on the computer. I'd give it 5 stars but the lack of spiral binding does detract.

It's Ok but it leaves essential workflow out of the tutorials.

This is the heavy duty Autocad book for those who can become graduates in any tough course. You should have studied have studied Civil engineering or another serious Construction studies to understand the context. This book delivers on BIM as well so purchase it to master both civil and latest BIM.
