Mezzanine

This is without question one of the best albums I have ever heard. I began collecting albums fifty years ago (!), and few of them have had the impact on me that Mezzanine has had. What's most remarkable is that it never gets old or tiresome. It presents a thoughtful and textured soundscape that never fails to evoke an emotional response, and if I had to choose, say, three albums from my collection to take with me to a desert island, Mezzanine would surely be one of them. Utterly engaging, eminently listenable, lush and provocative, it's a thoughtful and intelligent tour de force for Massive Attack, and everyone should own a copy. Bravo!

Shipped from Japan, so it took a while to get here, but it was definitely worth it. Bonus track, original Japanese spine label (preserved sticker on cellophane) -- and this has got to be the best/defining Massive Attack CD...

There is no collection of music like this anywhere, ever. This album is insane! I can't hear it enough! Buy it! I'm serious.
